Great location with a charming courtyard and area around the hotel. Easy walk to the Dom and other sights. Great breakfast and clean room with plenty of space.
Former monastery. Basic room but impeccable cleanliness and ver comfortable bed. Location within in the old city was great for sightseeing and close to river cruise docking area.
This was a great hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous. There was a wide variety of fresh delicious food. I highly recommend.
Wonderful, clean hotel with excellent and helpful staff, most of whom were bilingual in German and English. Great breakfast. Great access to major sites in Mainz. Only complaint is that during a severe hot spell, rooms are not air-conditioned and we had to ask for a fan in our room since it was incredibly stuffy even with window open.
Large, modern conference center adjacent to the Mainz Dom (cathedral). In the middle of the altstadt and central shopping district. Entire facility is very clean and well maintained, room accommodations are simple but fresh and comfortable. Large breakfast area and restaurant for conferences. No conferences when we were there, had an excellent time.
The room is minimal but comfortable. No AC but international travelers should expect this. The clerk in the early afternoon was condescending, but the afternoon/evening clerk was nice. No restaurant.
We were only in town for 1 night, myself and a friend shared a 2-twin room. The room was nice and spacious, had lots of clothing storage and a nice-sized balcony. The breakfast buffet had a ton of options and there were many great food options within walking distance. There is a parking lot below the hotel that is 11 euro a night. My only complaint is the internet speeds were too slow for me to work (even just sending email) so that was a big disruption was I was planning to work remotely while I was there. I would probably not stay again for this reason. Staff was extremely friendly!
