"I had issues booking this hotel via Expedia on Christmas Eve. Ended spending hours in the lobby having Expedia redo the booking on my behalf because my original booking did not show on Hennessy park hotel's system. Despite this rough start, the staff at Hennessy was empathetic and accommodating particularly Kath, who was assisting the entire time. So grateful for her being there! The rooms were clean and quite spacious. Hot consistent showers (hot water can sometimes be a problem in parts of Mauritius). The location is great if you need to be central. We were staying in the North earlier on, but found out that we spent too much time in traffic as we needed to sight-see in the West. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas to add to the holiday cheer! The hotel is also close to Tribeca shopping mall which has heaps of eateries. My family and I have enjoyed our stay at Hennessy Park Hotel and would definitely stay there again. ☺️"

"The lady might have been the nicest I have ever encountered at a hotel during my years of travelling! The accommodation was very nice for that price point. Was just looking for a place for a good deal with clean sheets, and it was exactly that. There’s no front desk there so it’s best to message the property before arriving. I didn’t realize this until I got there, so walked down the road to KFC to get wifi and message. She replied within minutes, then came and picked us up in her car and drove back up the road to the property. She checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed, helped coordinate a taxi after checking out, and even messaged later to make sure I made it to my next destination. Definitely recommend! "The property is clean but has no amenities. The swimming pool doesn’t work. It’s overpriced and not worth the money. Four dogs roam around freely at night, which is scary. "
