"My husband and I came here for our 2 year anniversary and I just have to stay that this resort is beyond beautiful. The food in the Olive restaurant was fantastic and offered many options! Both pools are extremely clean and well kept, they were cold only because we came at a little bit of a colder time. "Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. "
