Hotels near Malvern Hills

"We had a fantastic stay here to celebrate my Wife's birthday. Hotel is located really close to all Malvern facilities like the theatre, shopping, evening entertainment and access to the hills. We booked the "delixe apartment" but internally atvthe hotel this is known as the "Hideaway" It is actually a 3 bedroom apartment with beautiful period features like dormer windows bit the important elements have been lovingly refurbished recently. Beautiful master bedroom with comfy bed, quality bedding, modern shower room with rainfall power shower, separate modern toilet, beautiful lounge area and a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Sweets and chocolates along eith biscuits were left in the room too. The apartment is at the very top of the 150 year old building and offers views across the hills. The staff we met at the hotel seemed genuinely interested in making our stay a positive one, wishing my wife a happy birthday, giving advice for bars and restaurants in the area, detailing walking routes across the hills and allowing us to use the small onsite car park. Breakfast is lovely and ordered from a menu but the times are quite prompt and early, especially for a weekend with a 9.30 finish and 9am on weekdays. I understand a family run hotel wants to focus the breakfast period but some guests will find (and did find) it a struggle to make it on time! Cooked Breakfast consisted of good quality, i assume, local ingredients, with some nice home made muesl. We will return."

"Check in was a dream. Parking was great. Room facilities were excellent - kettle, tea, coffee, milk sachets, plenty of hot water, beds were very comfortable and warm but not too hot which is how I like it. The bathroom could do with a lick of paint. Water leaked a little from underneath the back of the basin which pooled in front of the basin stand. I know they allow pets to stay and there were dog hairs on the carpet which isn’t nice when you don’t particularly like pets. Bath was quite slippery when having a shower - would be good to provide a mat for inside the bath"

"Excellent location, staff and food options. Restaurant in particular very good. Only slight criticism was quality of the bed linen was maybe not reflective of an establishment such as this We did mention as we checked out. But wouldn’t deter us coming again"

"The parking was good. Plenty of room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was amazing, large, clean and beautifully decorated. A large newly done bathroom. The breakfast was really lovely and plenty of it."
