"Location was good, close to cable car and bus stop. The property is in desperate need for some TLC. rooms are very tired, worn down and neglected. Not to resemble a true Ryokan. Charging 3*hotel rates but supplying a poor hostel standard. I skipped the second night and got a beautiful room in town for half the price. Breakfast was ok. "

"If you want to take a step off the beaten track in Japan this is a very good option. The hotel is situated in a very good place to explore the Kyoto on Sea area (this is not Kyoto city). The Hotel will send a minibus at certain times of day to pick new visitors up from the railway station. The hotels offers visitors free bike hire for 4 hours and is relatively close to the bus route for exploring other parts of the area. "My husband and I stayed here for a night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Although we live only 2hrs away from Miyazu city, we decided to spend a night just to experience the stay here.
