The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The hotel is well situated. Near Chinatown with lots of restaurants and not far from Picadilly, Market Street and Royal Exchange Theatre. Easy to get to and transport system excellent. Safe - room key required to use lifts and enter building at night. Our room was ok but the decor was a bit tired. Soundproofed rooms fabulous though, with no disturbance from other rooms.

Hotel has changed its name, we had not been advised of this so walked around Manchester for 30 minutes trying to find it !!!!! And £30 for a G&T and a pint of beer including a £4 service charge, poor in my opinion. Hotel clean and staff were friendly.

A good compromise between the Piccadilly station and the city centre. Comfortable interior design - rooms are very well curated and kept clean. Little interaction with the staff.

We deliberately tried to choose a quiet hotel as we had an early start but the hotel had a noisy event going on until 1am that made it impossible to sleep on the upper floors. To be fair on calling reception they moved us to a different room but not sure what would have happened if another room was not available. I feel if there have such an event on this should be made clear at the time of booking

Hotel is nice enough, staff friendly, room was nice, up to date and clean with everything you would expect. WiFi superfast and easy to get on. Only a couple real sticking points for me was; 1. The TV system isnt the greatest, its laggy, missing half the Uk channels and the TV guide takes forever to load. We also have a message constantly popping up in the bottom right saying 'Storage almost full'. Casting from your phone works great though and the WiFi was perfectly fast for streaming. 2. The drainage seemed a bit slow in the bathroom, the shower flooded very easily and when you ran the tap in the sink it filled the sink up quicker than it could drain 3. On checkout we were not asked if we were happy with the stay etc. Generally a nice place to stay though for the money.

Hotel was easy to find - easy parking at QPark Food was good in the restaurant & the breakfast was nice. Only thing I would say is for the tea & coffee to be served to you at breakfast instead of out of a machine - don’t really like machine coffee as never very hot

The room was very clean, bed very comfortable. And the shower was hot and powerful. The only thing I could suggest is to have a light over the coffee and tea area, as it rather dark, especially when you’re using hot water. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a great hotel. My room was laid out in an interesting way that maximized space and created a separate work area, which was useful. Some really nice touches throughout, like the large industrial bathroom sink. The vibe is a little bit hipster/cool, but even if you are not so cool (like me), you will feel very comfortable, welcome, and happy.

Liked that the hotel decor was bit different to the standard hotel. Bit different but not cheesy. Particularly the room set up was fab. Loved the bed being at an angle which worked so well with the view out the window! Room decor was great! Had a really cool feel, loved the street scene wallpaper. Really nice touch it had a fridge. Bathroom was also great. Had a fantastic shower. Staff have very good service, check in and out was super quick and efficient. Location is excellent. Only thing that we found a little off putting was the dj in the hotel bar that was very loud and bit off putting if you want a quiet drink before or after you’ve been out.

Lovely facilities but for the price I paid fell a bit short. We were on the first floor and all we could hear until 2am was loud music. Given we wanted we get to bed early this was less then ideal and as a result were super tired the following day. Secondly I got an “upgrade” which I wish I hadn’t taken because it hardly seemed an upgrade from the room I had so just be careful when you get an email from the hotel saying upgrade your room. The noise is really what leads me to writing a lower review - there was a dj playing in the bar area but it was way to loud The rest of the room is nicely done up and clean it’s just not very sound proof

We had an amazing experience at Brooklyn Hotel. From check in, waiting staff at the bar and breakfast, they displayed warm and exceptional customer service. Nothing was too short of an issue, and offered amazing food recommendations. The hotel facilities were great and we really enjoyed the decor. Our only small fault would be the heat of the shower, very warm even on the coolest temperature. We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for a superb experience- and shoutout to Bailey! Super guy!

Very modern and vibrant hotel. Room was brilliant, upgraded as per booking albeit some teething problems with reception on this at first No parking available which was frustrating. Places the hotel had a discount with sold out and didn't compensate for parking we ended up paying for not too far away. Very busy area.

The room we stayed in was nice until you looked closely. Stains on the carper and curtains and the shower area was full of grime around the edges. Also ordered room service. Wrong meal sent but it was also burnt. Currect meal sent in the end but meant we ate at different times. Needs some tweaks.

We had a really good stay my only criticism is that the TV was a bit slow and could do with some more features i know you dont stay in hotels to watch TV but it just helps when you come back from a long day and just want to relax and unwind other that we had a brilliant stay

Great location, modern decor and comfortable beds. The bathroom was well designed making use of the smaller space and the shower was lovely. Toiletries provided were good quality. Tea and coffee facilities including the N’espresso machine was very welcome. Room also had a mini fridge. There was a pleasant fragrance (similar to a Hollister or Penhaligon’s store) that was aired throughout the property which gave it a nice touch. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel great location a couple of minor issues Tv didn’t work but soon rectified, also toilet wouldn’t stop flushing had to get them back to it twice, but Soon rectified . Staff very friendly and helpful . Would recommend this hotel .

Unique in terms of the Brooklyn theme. Ideal location for Oxford Road railway station, the Palace Theatre and restaurants. The room was quiet, a good size with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. The full breakfast was excellent in terms of quality food. Good value for money and would highly recommend.
