"The staff was very friendly. The room was quite small, but it was super clean, everything functioned well, the TV welcomed me by name lol. The soaps and little in the bathroom smelled fantastic. The room was very quiet, and they had a white noise machine in the room. They have bag storage so after check out you can easily explore the city! I would definitely stay again."

"Aiden, the bell hop was the absolute star of the show. All staff were great, but Aiden really stood out. Super friendly and professional at all times. Remembered me by name after just the first encounter and always greeted me by name every time he saw me. Really made me feel at home and welcome. I have only stayed at the Intercontinental in San Salvador, El Salvador before and wondered if my experience here would be just as good. Did NOT disappoint. It is a great brand to stay with. They truly are top notch in their level of service!"

"Probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in Absolutely everything was 5 star from arrival and recognising our sons 21st birthday, then fabulous king rooms with a view we would never tire of; the rooftop bar Moonraker took our breath away, the pool is akin to a luxury beach club. Food was delicious; amazing array of drinks and cocktails, staff were consistently helpful & thoughtful, the little extras made it a memorable me experience. Add to all of that the location at the heart of the Wharf with so many bars and restaurants and easy to get into DC and all monuments, attractions etc this was a perfect 3 night stay to end our mini American road trip. Thank you Pendry, we wish you had hotels in Europe; we’re already looking at others you currently have."

"I absolutely love the Salamander. For the past two years, every trip to the DMV area requires a stay there. I love the cleanliness of the rooms are comfort of the beds. For the most part, the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. However, during my most recent stay I requested an amenity for my bath via the test messaging service and never received it. I’m not sure if this was a technology issue or if someone simply dropped the ball. Nevertheless, from now on I will call the front desk with any requests rather than utilize the text messaging service."

"We stayed here for one night after a concert. The entire facility and room was very clean and well-kept. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We LOVED that there’s a Starbucks right off of the hotel. The only complaint was that there was no shampoo or body wash in the bathroom, the holder where I assume they would have been was broken, which is probably why there was none, but that was minor and didn’t really matter since we only stayed for one night. Would definitely stay here again."
