The hotel was clean and very well kept. The staff was accommodating and always cheerful. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend a stay.

The common area in the hotel were absolutely beautiful. The rooms were a little rustic the bathrooms need update so badly. The room that I was in, I had to squeeze into the shower because the door was a sliding glass door, and the opening was not that big.

The hotel staff were pretty helpful and my stay was good overall. The hotel is pretty old and the creaks and sounds make it a little weird.

we stay at many manila area hotels this is our favorite R&R spot. very close to all sights and walking routes on manila bay.this art deco hotel circa 1930 is a gem. quaint piano bar brings back the beauty of yesterdays "old manila" charm.room service top notch.enjoy rq

The property is in need of a renovation, very outdated. Airconditioning took all night to get cold. Sheets were stained and worn out. There was a cockroach in my room! Chose this for convenience of being near the US Embassy. My advise to others, book Bayview Park or some other hotel nearby.

Art Deco Gem in Old Manila

Pleasantly surprised by the condition and cleanliness of the 80 year old building. We had early morning business at the U.S. Embassy, and this location was perfect! Comfortable room for great value. Will definitely stay here again should we require a room in this part of Manila in the future.

Nice hotel overall. Staff was excellent!! Water pressure very low on 5th floor. hotel was very Dated. Within walking distance of the U.S. Embassy. Hotel restaurant served good food.

歴史を感じられるホテル

古いホテルの良さを残した渋いホテルです。豪華さや華やかさは感じられませんが、吹き抜けの明り取りからの自然光が程よい明るさの空間を作っています。全体に調度品の古さも目立ち、それをどう感じるかで、このホテルの印象が大きく変わるところでしょう。そこら辺が、このホテルの評価を2分する境目になると思います。

staff friendliness is awsome. location is superb. however, breakdown of the elevator during our stay made it difficult for like us seniors. it restricted our mobility.

The room was a good size, hotel stuff is helpful and friendly. The air cond in a room produced a lot of noise which wasn't great. The towels and bed linen could be in a better state (seemed like they also been there since WW2 times).
