"We stayed at Embassy suites Colorado Springs from Sept 27th to Sept 29th. It was one of the best experiences we have had , with friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms and an exceptional buffet breakfast. Thank you management of embassy suites for making our stay a memorable one."
Cliff House at Pikes Peak

"My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Cliff House in a Junior Suite on the 4th floor. The room was clean, spacious, and very quiet. We had a great view overlooking Manitou Springs and the mountains. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious with 2 sinks. There was a jetted tub combined with a shower. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the tub because the water temperature would only get luke warm. This was really odd since the hot water at the sink was very hot. Dining options at the hotel were sparse and pricey, and definitely not kid friendly. Thankfully, the walk to main street is less than 5 minutes from the hotel. Once on Main street there are numerous dining options along with extensive shopping. From Main street you can also take the free shuttle to the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. This is by far the best, and less stressful, way to get to the Cog Railway. There is a huge renovation going on at the hotel but we never heard any noise in our room. Overall, this is great location, not to mention staying in a building that dates back to the 1800's, and hosted royalty and a U.S. President!"

"The hotel lobby was spacious. The floors were some sort of plank and were loose and coming up in places. It also needed sweeping and a good mopping. The on-line pictures are much better than the actual hotel. We could tell it was a nice place at one time. It needs some work to bring it back to what it once was. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We did see several large dogs on leashes staying in the rooms. If anyone has allergies, just be aware this is an animal friendly place."

"Hotel worked perfectly for staying in Manitou Springs. I was able to walk to SunWater spa from the hotel, and it was pretty close to the Incline and downtown. I would stay there again!"
