"Very nice hotel located at the top of a hill in Ooty. Nicely appointed rooms with comfortable bedding. Staff was extremely friendly and provided good service. Hotel location makes it easy to walk down to main city area where lots restaurants are available. However, you can easily eat at the in house restaurant as well. There is a game room for kids to play. Afternoon tea in the garden was nice everyday between. 5-6pm. Only suggestion would be to add a swimming pool to property. "

"We were rather disappointed by the overall management and stay. The governor of another state was at the property when we checked in. There was no care for other guests. We were not attended to, no welcome, no smiling faces. Nothing. We came after a long drive from Ooty and had to do everything ourselves until we asked for help. Staff looked visibly uninterested. The only staff who were helpful and made the stay pleasant were Ashly and Veena or Veni (if Im not wrong) there were the same shift on 7th April. Room was clean but glasses were dirty. Conditioner was in the soap dispenser and soap was in the conditioner dispenser. A room service coffee order took 40minutes to come and the staff went to the wrong room because he was informed wrongly. And that took another 10 minutes. It was pretty sad experience for such a reputable property. "

"Bridget was the most pleasant and helpful. She made the experience so pleasant. We had a mosquito situation outside the hotel, in the lobby and even in our room. She immediately got pest control to our room. And explained that the fumigation triggered the situation. The issue was not big compared to how she handled it professionally. We loved the breakfast. Rooms were clean and perfect. We felt very welcomed. Our kids loved the property and Bridget :) "

"This hotel needs a massive update. Our room is very dated and old, there was garbage in the corner, where the curtains are, and this was not removed and it is in general need of a massive upgrade. This is not what I expected of the Le Meridien brand. Also, the reviews do not reflect the current state of the hotel.. I would not recommend this and suggest it is a three star at best. Also, the food was not great. We ordered pakoras for lunch and they were cold. Staff were nice but no one went out out of their way. "
