La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tulsa Downtown/Route 66
2/10 Terrible
"Spot was fine, but, the hot water didn’t work.
The hotel double charged my account. Hotel bill was supposed to be 139.00 and my bank was charged 440.00. Hotel said they only charged 139.00. Hotel worker also complained bc I used Hotel. Com instead of using the hotel for booking.
10/1000 would never stay here again.."
"Nice convenient Motel, calm atmosphere and very comfortable beds. Very clean and love that there is room for truck and trailer parking without the hassle."
"Everything was nice and clean. check in was easy. The only thing we were discouraged about was at most hotels the breakfast last until 10am on Saturday and Sunday. We were out late at the Creek County Speedway and slept until 9am. It would have been nice if I was told at check in the breakfast service hours."
"The room was large with a king bed and a couch that opened to a full-sized bed. The room had a desk that did not have a lamp which made it very difficult to do do reading/writing activities. We had to ask the front desk for a lamp. The bathroom was large with a glass door shower. Wasted space. The closet was the usual but there where only three metal baskets for clothing for a room for 4. Need more drawer space. The king sized bed had a very hard mattress and extremely soft pillows. Usually hotels have extra pillows available for comfort. I had to go to the front desk for extra blankets because the lack of a comforter style blanket didn’t provide enough warmth. Also had to get more towels and pillows.
Went to the indoor heated pool which was what drew us to this hotel and was very disappointed. The pool was warmer than an outdoor pool in May but still very cold. There were no towels so I again had to ask for towels. They told us that the staff was going to bring us some. Another family joined us and they were waiting on the staff to bring them towels too. We couldn’t get out of the pool because it was freezing by then and we were all wet! Finally someone went to the front desk and waited for all of our towels and brought them in.
Breakfast was adequate with choices of eggs, meat and potatoes, waffles, breads, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, juices and coffee.
The hotel is walking distance to many places in Tulsa. Had to pay for Parking. Not returning"
