"This hotel was amazing. It had everything on site, that we barely had to leave the resort. Between the Starbucks and the ABC stores, we had everything available when we needed it. This hotel also had some amazing restaurants. We ate at Tropics daily. The staff were all friendly for the most part. I would just be cautious of the Activity Center. My family and I wanted to book a tour to the Dole Plantation and were instead given an 8-hour tour of the island with only a 30-minute stop at the Dole Plantation. This really ruined our day as we had no time to do anything there but get an ice cream and leave. Monika spent about 2 hours making the reservations for 5 of us and conned us into a 2-hour time share presentation that we all had to attend in order to receive a discount. Unfortunately, she was not very clear of any of this, and we were left with a wasted day. Thankfully, we met a kind man named Cotton that was able to fix the issues she created and, although we weren't able to get our time back, we did get our money back and suggestions for a different tour to take in the future, All in all we had a great time at this resort between swimming in 3 different pools, the lagoon and the ocean. "

"Several years ago (2018) we stayed in this hotel and had a good experience, but in our latest trip in 2016, the hotel has undergone some, what I would consider, detrimental changes. Free breakfast, which was listed on the Expedia website as available, was NOT available during the 2026 trip and the staff, on my extremely limited conversations with them, were rather rude and NOT helpful. It is a good location and has worked out well in the past, but on my next trip, I will investigate other options, so I can't highly recommend them any longer."

"Room looked like a jail cell. Towels were so over used they were like sandpaper. Turned the shower on and the knob wouldn’t stay up and turn cold. Staff very rude and very unhelpful. No parking on site only cash. Area of the city not great. Not like the photos at all. Would never recommend anyone staying here. Ended up being there only 2/6 nights after the staff was extremely rude and wouldn’t listen. Wouldnt look at me when I went down to ask about the shower and told me it’s fine and shooed me away. Terrible stay, terrible staff"

"Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and accommodating. The WIFI was not good all the time. I had to use my data from my cell phone daily so I could use my iPad. It was convenient to us the public transit as the hotel is on the route to the airport & Diamond Head."
