"The second time that I have stayed here and it doesn't disappoint. A good value place with the added bonus of being able to get a decent meal at the pub without having to travel."

"Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money.
Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that...
"Staff were helpful and friendly but property is very tired. Paint is peeling in bathrooms and bedroom, and the room smelt slightly damp. There were no electric sockets near headboard, we needed an extension cable running across the room. Corridor was in severe need of vaccuming. The property needs redecorating and deep cleaning."

"Christina was a lovely host! We felt very welcomed and comfortable. The dog loved the back garden and we enjoyed the pub next door. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!"
"Always a wonderful stay, clean, fresh room, comfy bed, great shower, TV, lovely continental breakfast in the room, cereals, breakfast bars, fruit, fresh milk, orange juice and yogurts in the fridge, plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits, replenished daily. Lovely staff. Can't fault it! "
"Amazing little hideway just within easy walking distance of West Malling, the hosts were super friendly and made us feel very comfortable on arrival, we purchased the firepit kit which was beautifully presented and included marshmallows and all your fire starting essentials, perfect for a quiet evening under the night skies. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and offered everything you could need for a self catering trip, including tea, coffee, cutlery, firepit tools, tin foil, washing up liquid, hand soaps and much more. The oven was spotless and easy to use, perfect for cooking a meal after a long day out. The lodge also had a smart TV with plenty of connected apps if you need them, the whole place was so peaceful and unique and was a great base for our trip to nearly Brands Hatch, we would love to come back and highly recommend staying."
