This property does NOT have access to Hawks Cay resort and pools. It does have a beautiful view of the water. However, it is billed as being have room for 6 but it is extremely tight. The interior needs updating. I would not return.

I do not recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in the 2- or 3-bedroom villas. We paid for a villa thinking we would have access to the hotel’s amenities, but you can’t use any of the facilities, not even the five pools they have. You are only allowed to stay inside your room. It’s very disappointing and not transparent at all, since they never mention that renting a villa does not include access to the rest of the hotel. Definitely not worth the price they charge.

Disappointed in Hotels.com &Keys Caribbean rentals

The ad for this villa described it as beachfront. It was not. The house was clean but just tired looking. Needs paint touch up and updates for the rate charged. Only one room with ceiling fans in FL Keys. The one ceiling fan was missing spots on the blades and it was in the guest bedroom not the main. Showers were disappointing with poor water pressure. The pool was too dirty to use. It had leaves but also algae on the bottom and steps. We had to call 4 times to get it cleaned and they came midday on our last day there. We ended up leaving a day early because of it. Not the way we wanted to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.

This is a very nice home within Hawks Cay Villas. the home is clean. nice pool outback. I would recommend that they do a little upkeep as its a litte older and some things need to be fixed. Such as the bars on the upstairs back porch were broken and i would not let me 4 year old out there. Also they should keep some cleaning supplies on site so we can clean if any messes were made. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay.

The house was nice . Pictures of property match actual property. Problem we had were iguanas would use the pool as a bathroom. Everyday we'd have to have the pool clean . But by the end of our stay we'd have to do it ourselves. Pool became milking looking and we didn't want to swim in it .

First the good stuff: the house is in a nice resort neighborhood, on a canal that leads to the ocean, with a boat slip. It’s roomy, and was clean, with space for multiple families to stay together. It has a decent sized kitchen, so you can cook. The resort has a small market and 3 restaurants. Now the negatives: YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE THE COMMUNITY BEACH OR POOL, because this is a private rental. If you want to use the amenities of the resort, you must rent through Hawks Caye directly. You are not allowed to swim or fish in the canal. The kitchen was not well equipped. We had to go out and buy some cooking pans because the ones they provided were not sufficient or in good shape. The blender didn’t work. The dishwasher worked poorly and we had to rewash. The sink looked like it was about to fall through the counter. The ceiling downstairs showed leakage and we were told not to fill the bathtub because of the leaks. A lot of the floor tiles were cracked and loose.

Im Gegensatz zu der ein Jahr vorher gebuchten Villa (7024) ist die Villa 7027 in einen deutlich schlechteren Zustand. Risse in Wände, kaputte Fenster (Schlafzimmer), verrostete Ablagefächer im Bad, dreckiges Geschirr, loose Türen an den Küchenschränken, usw. Hier sollte man renoviert werden.
