"Breakfast was included with the room which was wonderful. It was delicious and they had gluten free toast for me, which was lovely. The staff has been especially kind and helpful, and much I needed Since my plans changed after I checked out and had to check back in, they honored the rate I had previously booked. They are also within a lovely walking distance of beautiful gardens and the river and the downtown area. Highly recommended hotel. "

"The perfect spot to relax and unwind listening to the sounds of the sea. We treated ourselves to one of the balcony suites and were not disappointed. Margate is an interesting mix of old and new but there are lots of places to explore food wise. This is also my first visit to one of the Guesthouse hotels and I would be keen to try the others in the brand. The pantry was a nice idea although there were no plates for the cake, glasses for the drinks or jugs to get the fresh milk from the fridge. Parking is free after 6 outside the hotel but otherwise its quite expensive to park in the area. "

"Generally the standard of hygiene could be improved dramatically , just very dusty and dirty in certain areas. They just need to hoover the carpet more. We had a blocked sink and the water wasn’t very warm despite setting to maximum. I understand other guests had similar issues. Positives were - very friendly staff, comfy bed and oreo snacks were nice"

"Room was clean and staff was helpful but our see view room was disappointing the first room was on an incline so ask to switch as I could not sleep with my head facing down and in both rooms the so called sea view was a very small window that was in one corner that you had to stand up and get in front of it to see the sea and the rooms was very small and the window let in very little light and we had to have a light on in the middle of the day ! My sister had a room facing the marina and her room was twice the size and these big beautiful big windows that let in a ton of natural light . In my opinion the sea view room is not worth the extra money!"

"The breakfast buffet was great the days it was available and the other day/2 it was a set menu with many options. A big thank you to Teagan who was very accommodating from before we stayed. She made sure everything was in order for our stay and she and her team were a godsend when collecting and dropping my mum off to our lodge cabin in the hotel buggy. This meant that she was mobile due to her walking disability. Overall it was a nice stay and lovely break. Looking forward to next year! Thanks to again to Teagan, Luke and the team."

"Arrived late, the bar was pleasantly lively, but as I had been driving I unfortunately did not end up going back for a drink as the food was finished serving, granted it was 9pm. Room was nice and clean, everything was there and nice touch with the biscuits and coffee pods, really liked it. Breakfast was fantastic, service was great too. Will definitely be returning."

"Basic single room, not very comfortable bed, and i supose ia m not used to the road noise as i was kept awake by the traffic. The positive note was that it was cheap for £ 53.00 P/N. so i am not complaining. You pay for what you get. "
