"This place is funky, artistically decoratively pleasing, and very clean. It has a beautiful inner courtyard with tables. Close to a buzzy, lively little dining and bar / club strip close to the beach, but removed enough that the rooms are quiet. My only complaint was that the in-take / check in process required a lot of filling out of forms…more than normally encountered when arriving for a reservation…and I urgently needed to use the bathroom at the time we were checking in."
"we stayed at this hotel for 1 week and it was honestly a great experience. the staff was nice and the rooms are so clean. the cleaners would always make sure everyday that we were stocked up with towels, toilet paper, soap etc. they would also make sure that our rooms were clean 24/7 which is a big help with 3 people in a hotel room! the parking is great and the hotel is very accessible to a lot of food and stores considering where it is located. would definitely recommend!"
"Absolute gem of a hotel, and decently priced.
Upsides:
-amazing location (right on Venice beach)
-clean room and halls
-good curtains for my fellow late sleepers
-very helpful staff (they actually have an overnight desk person, which is more than I can say for many other hotels in the area)
Downsides:
-they do charge $55 for valet, so if you bring a car, be ready for that.
-the roof is a little underwhelming, as it lacks an Oceanside view. "
