"This was a great location, walking distance to dining and the wharf. The pool, parking and gym are located across the street and require leaving the main hotel building. The hotel sits right next to an area where many unhoused individuals sleep and sit on benches, some with signs asking for money (or beer). The lobby has a bakery for coffee and breakfast and there’s an onsite restaurant as well. Cozy space and I would stay here again if needed."

"Breakfast menu was almost non existent on our first day, better on our second. No juice available as machine was out of order, fruit selection was minimal at best. No rolls or pastry, limited to sliced bread to toast. Room was not as clean or the size we had paid for (paid for larger) and was told they are all the same size. We had to ask for a hair dryer. No problem with parking. Pool was out of order and unavailable for use. Snack vending machine was out of order. Questionable and noisy activities at neighboring room."

"I'm not a big fan of the room layout, and the bed could be more comfortable. The bathroom's cleanliness is somewhat questionable. However, the hotel’s prime location within walking distance of food and shopping options, and its proximity to CSUMB, are definite advantages. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was enjoyable. Although the bar was closed during our stay, overall, the hotel is very nice. And it is only a few minutes from the beach at Fisherman's Wharf."
