Good location if you’re arriving by train, as situated adjacent. Traffic is busy and noisy but hotel rooms have good sound proofing so not an issue & provides interesting viewing! We were unhappy with our initial room (dark, no balcony & smelly) and the staff were very quick and helpful, stating they wanted us to be happy. 2nd room was much better with great shower. Breakfast was very good and the pool area was a lovely place to relax. Be aware this hotel has had a few names : Red / Opera and now known as The Grand Plaza (shows all names online) but it’s all the same place which confused me and the taxi driver initially! Convenient location, helpful staff & a great breakfast.

The sray and check in was good but was made to miss early morning train I'd booked because having told the staff i hadn't used the mini bar i was forced to wait whilst a security guard went to my room to seek confirmation that what i said was true. Once this was confirmed i tried to leave and when exiting my path was barred by two more security guards telling me i couldn't leave until i had checked out. Again my word was not good enough and i was held until this was confirmed. Im not sure who runs this establishment but ive stayed in many five star hotels and none of them treat you like a criminal or a liar.

I love the hotel. We started with a warm welcome from the front desk Mohamed. The room has s clean . The breakfast was good and the atmosphere was excellent. Grâce au personnel on se sent comme à la maison

J’ai passé une très bon séjour dans cette hôtel, et c’est le personnel qui a veillé à ce que nous nous sentons chez nous. Un grand merci à Meriem, Hassania, Charaf, Soufiene et le monsieur qui préparait les jus d’orange frais chaque matin qui ont rendu le séjour exceptionnel. Le petit déjeuner du matin était vraiment délicieux et la restauration sur place également. Je reviendrai dans cette hôtel pour mes prochains séjour à Marrakech.

Nice hotel but staff not trained

At check-in, the agent did not inquire if I wanted to make a deposit and instead chose to empty the minibar, assuming I would consume items without paying. This behavior was unprofessional. The correct procedure is to ask if I wish to make a deposit and, if I decline, to charge me for any extras directly. Instead, she made an erroneous judgment and chose to empty the minibar. I found her actions offensive and believe her conduct should be addressed. Throughout my stay, I did not feel comfortable. Additionally, at check-out, the agent held me at the reception to check the room. The way I was treated was not professional. The staff should be properly trained in customer service to ensure guests feel at home and welcomed.
