A quiet, clean and nice Riad in the Medina. Staff very friendly and helpful. They arranged transfer/porter service to/from the train station. Getting through the main square is a bit of a challenge but the system was efficient. Rooms clean and comfortable although surprised that they did not provide water for drinking. Breakfast was good but very carb heavy so beware if you are seeking protein. All and all a nice stay. There was some reluctance to accept credit card payment for the extra fees (tourist tax, transport and pre-booked arrival dinner (tasty)) but they do have machine and did take the card in the end (instead of need to go find an ATM to get cash).

We arranged for the hotel to pick us up at the airport. They had a car waiting & a porter to transit our luggage into the Medina. The Riad is very safe, with the entrance locked & monitored at all times, and perfectly clean. The staff, Leila and Hakim, were so attentive and helpful for all our requests through the week. They booked us a tour guide, Hammam experience, and found us a tub to give our baby a bath in! Our room was comfortable, with its own heat and cooling we could easily control. Breakfast was the same every day - a selection of breads and pastries, cheese, jams, juice and an omelette.

Great location and a wonderful kind hospitable

I had to book this hotel last minute (the day of stay) on the 30th December and was very very lucky to be able to be accommodated in a sister Riad. Layla was wonderful and I cannot thank her enough for the kindness she showed at was quite stressful. Wonderful location as well right in the centre of the medina.

The property is wonderful. The Jemaa el-Fnaa, the main square in Medina, is lively and a bit chaotic, but the Riad Azra provides a beautiful and tranquil break from the noise even though it's right in the heart of the city. The staff is wonderful, very attentive, friendly and helpful. My room was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. I would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was short but amazing. The host was very accommodating and helpful. He gave us recommendations of places to eat and what to see for the night we were there. Very close to the square and shopping. The riad was a little difficult to find once we found the right street but someone on the street pointed us in the right direction. This Riad is a gem in the heart of the Médina. Conveniently located close to everything that visitors look for in Marrakech. But the true gem in this Riad are the people who run the place. Adil and Layla who managed the Riad are world-class hospitality pros. They gave us above and beyond service in every moment we were there. We had the loveliest hosts! This Riad was slightly difficult to find especially if it’s your first time trekking through Jemma El Fna however once you do - it’s actually easy to navigate afterwards! The decor was so wholesome, the breakfast spread so generous and considering it’s outside the market, you’d think the noise would be heard but it’s actually very peaceful and very serene inside! Our host was so lovely as well - we had a blackout during our stay and they were very quick to reassure that it’ll get fixed straightaway and helped us get the right fares for the taxis hehe Definitely a recommended stay in Marrakech!

Riad Azra was the safest place for us in entire Marrakesh even tough it is located in the heart of the Medina (old city). The personal and the service was amazing. Thanks to Layla to make our stay very comfortable. The Riad is located in the traffic banned area. That’s why we had to carry our luggages around 10 minutes from the main square El Fna. The breakfast was really rich and delicious. Only Marrakesh in general we found so chaotic and not that safe.

Cute riad with scope for improvement

Small and cute riad, close to the main square and within easy reach to the souks. The rooms are a good size, but felt damp and cold due to the lack of ventilation. The pool was not clean so we couldn’t use it. The breakfast cakes were tasty but limited; no yogurt, fruits or eggs. Only bread and cakes were on offer. Can’t fault the service though 👌

We had a lovely stay in Riad Azra. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requests and even arranged a last minute late check out for us. Location is perfect too, very close to Jem el Fnaa. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here on our last night in Marrakech just wanting a simple, clean, comfortable, and safe place. We used Google GPS to navigate from the entrance of the souk, and found that the right turn to the riad is accurate per the GPS however the alley was very shady looking. Please be aware of shady characters standing at the corniner who will eagerly volunteer to mislead you and demand 100 dirhams for nothing (about 10 USD) We reached the door to the Riad and fortunately the host was understanding and helped us ward off these characters. We are grateful his help. It would be good if there was more security and sign or lighting in the alley leading to the riad. The room itself was simple and fine. Mattresses were comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. The host was polite and helpful and the riad was quiet. He also welcomed us with hot mint tea.

The ladies of this property were really kind. They let us check in earlier and provided us mint tea as they got the room ready. Chez Brahim restaurant was just 2 minute away and had affordable amazing food! The property was in the middle of a souk but was very quiet at night. The breakfast was really good too.
