The space in the room is very tight. No places to store hand laggages. TV did not work and it has not repaired upon request. Water was dropping from the lavatory flush. Since there were none door between room and toilet, it was terrible at night. None warm water in the sing. Brakefast is very limited. The amount of eggs is exactly acc. the number of guests. The working staff are friendly towards guest. The hotel manager is unpolite and very arrogant.

wir hatten eine Buchung im Riad Chantal in Marrakesch vom 14.12. bis 21.12.18 und reklamieren diese. Gestern sind wir dort angekommen und man brachte uns in eine andere in der Nähe (Riad Ardrar) mit der Begründung, dass das von uns gebuchte Riad ausgebucht sei. Man hat uns dann auf die Dachterasse mit Sesseln und Tische für Gäste geführt und da in einem Raum, der wie eine Abstellkammer mit einem Bett aussah übernachten lassen. Es gab keine Dusche (die befand sich auf der Terasse) und als wir nach einem kurzen Ausgang wieder zurückkamen ließ die Tür mit dem Schlüssel nicht mehr öffnen und ein Mitarbeiter öffnete sie dann gewaltsam. Heute Morgen war und das alles zuviel, wir haben die Nacht nicht schlafen können, da die Tür nicht schließbar war. Daraufhin haben wir dann ein anderes Hotel gebucht und uns von der Unterkunft abgemeldet und gesagt, dass wir nicht dort bleiben möchten. Bilder der Unterkunft und die Buchungsbestätigung des neuen Hotels fügen wir bei. Wir bestehen auf Erstattung der Kosten für das gebuchte Riad Chantal, da wir uns dieses nach den Bildern ausgesucht haben und uns sehr viel mindere Unterkunft ohne unser Verschulden verkauft wurde. Wir gehen davon aus, dass wenn man über einen so großes Portal wie Expedia bucht, auch sicher sein kann gewünschte Bedingungen zu erhalten. If you like a taste of old buildings and old fation services and hospitality, this would be the place, it’s like living in your own private home. Lovely and charming, we enjoyed it very much. Check the room out and report what’s not working, they are more than happy to fix it or change your room for you.

Riad décevant... salle de bain sombre donc pour se maquiller ça devenait compliqué. Douche soit brûlante soit froide et pour une période de froid c'est limite! Dans l'annonce il y'avait de noté "produits de luxe" pour la salle de bain... à part un savon bas de gamme nous n'avons rien trouvé de plus. Mon amie a changé de chambre sachant que la première nuit rien ne fonctionnait dans la sienne. Ni prise ni lumière de chevet. Le seul point positif est le personnel Noura très accueillante ainsi que le remplaçant Zouheir. Je n'oublie pas le second monsieur accueillant dont je ne me souviens plus le nom. Mais en globalité très déçue du riad il ne vaut pas le prix...

Riaden var overbooket og vi måtte vente i 1 time for å bli flyttet til en annen Riad. Riaden vi kom til var ok. Dusjen hadde ikke varmt vann, hadde dårlig trykk og toalettet skylte dårlig ned. Området var ok, men litt gjemt beliggenhet og mye støy. De som jobbet der var veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme.

Hotel owner charged me 160 dirhams from the train station to the medina. Usually it’s 40 dirhams. Also it says in the hotel policies that they welcome children and I booked triple room but still he charged me 45 euros for the extra bed. Bed was too small for the price and he told me he rents the bed from Outside but the bed belongs to the hotel. I end up paying 115 euros after paying to Expedia. He never came to meet us so I can discuss this sistuatikn. The price I payed to him I could get a decent hotel. Room is too small, washroom has no door and privacy. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone because they are tryin to take money for no reason. Riad staff Mr Abdel was really nice but he is not the boss. Pretty much they don’t care about customer service and satisfaction. Riad cleaning lady and care taker Mr Abdel was helpful but he can only do so much. I am very disappointed that he charged extra money for the taxi which was not fair at all.

Süßes Hotel mit super Staff

Man möchte länger bleiben, so schön ist es! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr lieb. Die Lage ist Top! Man läuft nur wenige Minuten in die Stadtmitte. Man fühlt sich dort wirklich sehr wohl und herzlich aufgenommen. Immer wieder gerne beim nächsten Besuch.

Beau Riad parfaitement situé à 10 min à pied de la fameuse place, mais en dehors de l’agitation permanente de celle-ci. Acceuil très chaleureux de Yassine qui s’est rendu disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions et à nos besoins. Un grand merci à lui. La terrasse est très agréable pour lézarder l'après-midi, à l’ombre de la pergola. Je recommande a 100%

Perfect location to base your long weekend away.

Honestly cannot say enough good things about our stay here. The location is perfect for those looking for a central location to use as a base to explore the city. The Riad is nicely situated off the main streets in a winding, but easy to find side street. The location is 10 minutes walk from most areas - Jamaa Al Fina and the souks and across the road from the Kasbah area and sights such as the Saadian Tombs and Bahia Palace. The staff were friendly and very helpful attending to all our needs and requests. All in all, this Riad is perfect for the traveller who is looking for a place to sleep and some friendly hospitality in between exploring what the city has to offer. If your looking to sit in all day or spend it sunbathing, maybe look elsewhere. If you're looking for an authentic experience in a good location with friendly staff - look no further and book now!!

Arrived to find the staff had put us in the wrong room, pointing this out to the staff resulted in anger and the proposition that it was our own fault. Overnight staff was very angry with us when we asked for assistance organising our pick up for a desert tour. Overall incredibly dissapointing

Un excellent rapport qualité prix

La décoration de l'hôtel est soignee, le petit dejeuner simple mais correct et le wifi fonctionne très bien. Un bemol pour l'eau chaude capricieuse et la télévision qui fonctionnait mal. Monsieur Loutfi a su se montrer attentif à nos demandes et y a répondu de manière satisfaisante. La localisation du Riad est parfaite, toute proche de la casbah et de la mellah, entre un hopital et le Palais Royal. Le quartier et tres sécurisant grâce à la presence de postes de police et de nombreux commerces de proximité permettent d'acheter eau et snacks.
