The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and make sure you have the best stay possible. The property itself is incredibly beautiful, a bit away from the main areas but its a simple 10-15minute bus ride to the metro or strip. We had such a great time in this city exploring the Port, the mountains and staying at the Hotel. Definitely recommend it and would consider it for sure in the future.

Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Marseille. Perfect for anyone who wants to see the city but also do day trips to places like Cassis or to the Calanques which are a must. Comfortable and clean rooms, nice pool area. Only two things I would ask for are: - Have a drinks menu outside of wine and beer. We would have happily stayed if there were some simple cocktails instead of heading out. - full length mirror in the rooms!

The relaxing off the beaten track nature mixed with luxury. Great rooms and pool tucked away from the main hustle and bustle - it is like an oasis.

A Beautiful Oasis
My husband and I stayed for one night at the end of a two week trip to France. We chose the hotel based on it's location (we were flying out of Marseille) and amenities (pool). The streets are very narrow in this neighborhood, but there were signs along the way to help you find the hotel. Easy parking, beautiful gardens, immaculately clean and a most delicious breakfast. Beautiful place to stay. We arrived early, the receptionist kept our bags, gave us maps and info about the area. We had a great day exploring the coast and eating lunch in a restaurant recommended by Hotel 96. We felt lucky to have found this hotel.

Feel like a home
Hotel 96 is literally a hidden gem as it is quite a distance from the city center. The narrow road leading to the hotel requires some getting use to especially if you drive a big car. Servane has gone out of her way to help us with the problem we had with the car rental agency. She helped coordinate between Barcelona and Marseille with excellent follow up. I will definitely return should I visit Marseille afain.

Beautiful, welcoming hotel
My only complaint about my stay was that I wasn't there longer! The text message confirmations, warm staff reception, gorgeous property, commitment to sustainability, and quiet elegance made this the perfect place to stay in Marseille.

Luxurious surroundings and a very pleasant stay. Loved that the rooms were like little bungalows. Staff were friendly & helpful. The only thing I would change is a longer timeframe for ordering dinner.

This is a lovely hotel with lovely people. It's a great spot if you have a car. A short drive to Marseilles or cassis or beaches.

Quiet sanctuary in Marseille
Very good hotel tucked away on the outskirts of the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful as it was our first time in the area. Room was great and breakfast was outstanding. The grounds were very nice and very private.

Family run hotel
It was refreshing to be in a hotel that provides a more personal and responsive service rather than the more bland approach of many 'chains. For the first time on a trip to France I did not have my car and the location of the hotel did limit what I could do. Having said that the staff provided good information about local bus services and I managed a hike in the Calanque national park and seeing 2 of the beautiful calanques close to the hotel. I also visited Cassis on the bus, and Aix en Provence on the train from Marseille. This was a bit of a treck but worth it. I visited the beach closest to the hotel and this was very pleasant although very busy. No doubt you can get the best from your visit by car but if you are prepared to make the effort public transport is a good second best.

What a great find. It's a bit far from the port and center of action, but it provides a quiet oasis in a chaotic city. Lovely gardens, clean spacious room, AMAZING staff - and parking. Easy access to the smaller southern seaside villages as well as the scenic road to Cassis (which I strongly suggest taking).

Tucked away in a small quiet neighborhood, Hotel 96 is hidden gem. Friendly staff (and hotel dog) and fantastic breakfast like a B&B, but well appointed and modern hotel style rooms. Don't miss the brioche style French toast and make your own OJ with the orange press. The pool is refreshing touch after a hike through the calanques.

Best kept secret of Marseille
If you have access to a car, then this is the place to stay in Marseille. Friendly and helpful staff, crisp white bed linens, spacious and well appointed rooms....The Pool was a welcome retreat for our kids and don't forget about the fabulous breakfast, rivaled only by the bakery by our Paris hotel.

We arrived late after a nightmare drive and were welcomed warmly. The hotel is on the outskirts and they have grand gates that open onto a gravel driveway, lush. The gardens are really well maintained and first impressions were great. I was gutted it wasn't summer so we couldn't use the pool but it looked amazing. The room was huge! We had a 'basic' room but it was far from basic. The shower was large, great pressure and temperature and we were surprised to find a bath as well which was very welcome after months of travelling. Everything in the room was of good quality and modern. The bed was a wee bit too hard for me but we slept well none the less. Unfortunately we had to leave early so we didn't get to try the breakfast but the dining room looked really lovely. The service was really excellent. I would definitely come back here, in summer though and for more than one night!

Hôtel au calme, très propre et les produits de toilette sentent très bon. C'est agréable de partir en déplacement et de trouver un confort comme à la maison. Petit déj très copieux. Le personnel est très accueillant et le plus est d'voir le parking au sein de l'hôtel

Un très bon moment.
un séjour de 3j seulement pour faire un break. tout a été parfait. l'hôtel est au calme.Très belle chambre avec terrasse donnant sur le jardin. Piscine super top. Petit Déjeuner fantastique avec essentiellement des produits "maison". Réseau de bus à proximité, inutile donc de prendre la voiture pour se rendre au centre ville. Je conseille la pizzéria Pinocchio à 20mm à pied.
