The hotel itself was fine, especially the staff, but we did not like the location. Neighbourhood was rundown, streets were not clean. View from the room was unsightly. Despite this, the Staycity brand of hotels is good with great value for money.

Hotel staff was very nice and spoke English. We were on the 6th floor with no view of anything spectacular. Its Mid November and it was 35C (95F) in our room and they wouldnt unlock the AC control. We opened the balcony door to let the cool air in, but ended up having to close it due to the bugs and getting bug bites. Could of been bug bites but pretty sure it was mosquitoes. Smart TV but not hooked up properly. Food was okay. If you are starving its okay. But walk 10 minutes and get something good.

The property is in a great location, easy to get to with the metro and bus routes on its doorstep. The apartment that we stayed in was large, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge, coffee machine, kettle, milk, microwave, the works. The internet connection was also great in the rooms so it's great place for WFH. What we didn't like was the limited lighting in the apartment, it was really dark even with the lamp(s). Unfortunately for us one wall light wasn't in working condition and one lamp was flickering which isn't comfortable to the eye. The bathroom that we received was great for accessible needs but otherwise after showering leaning against the wall, still came out to a very wet floor. Overall I would still stay here but would ask for extra lighting and a better apartment.

Enjoy my stay here for.5 days, walking distance to the Shopping Malls & restaurants, the staff were very helpful especially Thomas who went out his way to make sure our stay was good 👍

Reception was extremely helpful when we arrived rather early. The M1 Colbert station is practically right out of the front door. Le Panier is very close as are the Vestiges.

Great location to explore Marseille
This hotel was perfect for our one night stay at a reasonable price. The reception staff were very friendly and the bed was really comfortable too!

Very good property other than the sewage smell that filled the room. We tried to change the room but told hotel was full due to the Rugby World Cup. If it wasn’t for the foul odour, I would have given it a full mark on condition. The area around the hotel is not great but during the day and early evening hours easily walkable to the old port.

Hotel is within walking distance of the metro and the Vieux Port. The hotel staff was excellent. We only stayed one night. There were some sketchy streets though especially walking back to the hotel from the Vieux Port.

Highly Recommend Central Location, Excellent Time.
Loved staying here, central location, cleanliness, front desk and security staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Their English was really good and communication was clear. Highly recommend.

Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Found the location perfect for walking to the port and tourist areas. Staff available 24 hours/day. Hotel card required to enter property and security outside at night! Felt very safe…. Never encountered any problems and enjoyed our visit to marseille

A pleasant stay
The room was spacious and well appointed, especially the little kitchen. The room was a little hot, even with the air con. The location was good in terms of walking to the train station or town centre, however didn't feel particularly safe getting there at night (the hotel safety was good, doors locked at night and guests come in with their key card).

Selected hotel based on location; attended work meeting at Hotel du Region located across the street. Convenient location about midway between train station and old port, so easily walkable to both, but there are 2 metro stations located close by to go to other areas. Rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast not included but worth it (pastries, yogurt, coffee and juice). Guests will need to bring own toiletries; bath only comes with soap.

The city center of Marseille is a district in full rehabilitation, efforts have been made near the Mucem or tourist places. But there is still a lot of work to do around the Gare St Charles and we hope to benefit from the new developments very soon.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The area around it feels unsafe. And we asked multiple staff members about why the a/c was not working and they said it is not turned on until May. Do not put you have a/c when you only have it for certain times. Due to having to keep the windows open their was loud noise nightly along with mosquitos who came in and bit me and my family multiple times a night.

Well run hotel in great location
Great location convenient to St. Charles train station and old port. Very clean and staff helpful and pleasant. A bit noisy at night from neighbour hood activity but 24 hour staff at front desk.

Bad experience
Very dirty area. All around the hotel you can smell urine. A lot of noise outside and suspected persons. The view from the window is garbage. The air condition did not work. I have been told that they are changing the system from cold to warm😳. They suggested to open the window, but a lot of mosquitoes entered the room…. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The parking is in public parking with urine all over.

We arrived at night and the area that the hotel is in seemed very deserted and was not very well lit. The hotel could install brighter lighting in front of the building to make it more welcoming. That was the only bad part. The rest is very good. The check in was quick, the staff were very friendly and even showed us how to work the washer and dryer machines. The room has a fully functional kitchen and is very large and the furnishings are in excellent condition and modern. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Good hot water in the bathroom and water pressure.
