Excellent hotel in Marstrand. Comfortable rooms, grand setting, helpful staff, and good breakfast. Would definitely stay again when we return to Marstrand.

The shower was loose and couldn't be fixed in place. We couldn't believe it. We paid 270 dollars and shower was like that.

Tons of old world charm in great location
Very quaint historic hotel just off the beaten path in Marstrand. If you don't mind shlepping your bags up cobble stoned streets from the ferry -- and then up steep flights of stairs to your room (no elevator) -- then this old beaut will offer you a lot of comfort. The restaurant is outstanding for dinner, though the breakfast buffet is modest without any personalized table service. Nice park outside the front steps and super easy walking to anywhere you need to get on the island.

Overpriced
The bathrooms are not heated. And to be an old hotel with a steep price, they do not keep the old style of the interior as was expected, and i would say it was worth half the price. Breakfast was standard, nothing special. Overall it was okay.

Topp hotell med god komfort.
Rommet var topp, men dusjen var håpløs. Dusjhodet var ikke mulig å feste på dusjstang. Ellers topp kvalitet og komfort på stort rom/suite. Hyggelig betjening og veldig god mat.

Då det ej fanns aircondition blev det väldigt varmt och det var nästintill omöjligt att sova. Och frukosten var katastrofdålig. Väldigt lite variation för ett så dyrt hotell. Aldrig igen!!!!!!!

Klassiskt elegant hotell
Hotellet är i gammal och elegant stil och passar perfekt på ön. Stora fina rum, rent, sköna sängar och perfekt läge med vacker utsikt. Suverän frukost och restaurang Tenan serverar fantastisk mat!

Grand? Hotell Marstrand
Fint hotell utvändigt. Men spräckt handfat, en dusch som inte hängde kvar under duschning. Middag kanon. Frukosten var en besvikelse. Påtalade felen i rummet men fick ingen kompensation. Dåligt.

Herlig, sjarmerende hotell i gammel stil. Restauranten er fantastisk for en bedre middag, frokosten er delikat og god. Anbefales på det sterkeste.

Mysigt hotell!
Mycket mysigt, äldre hotell, väldigt bra placerat på Marstrand ö. Alla rum med olikt utseende, Tornrum hade en fantastisk utsikt mot sundet. Frukosten kunde varit lite större och mer Covid-19 anpassad med ex engångsplasthandskar m.m.

Marstrandshelg på Grand Hotel
Trevlig personal och bra läge. Tyvärr var extrasängen som sattes in ganska obekväm så detta rekomenderas inte som lösning för tre personer. Rummet var annars ok fast det kändes styvmoderligt behandlat. Fel ljuskällor gjorde att skärmar på lampor bara låg på armaturen snett och vint. Badrumshyllan lutade så grejorna gled av. Två av tre rullgardiner funkade inte. Frukosten var bra men knappast Covid19 anpassad med bland annat en ost som alla skulle hålla i för att hyvla skivor. Sammanfattningsvis finns förbättringapotential för de 3595 kronor vi fick betala.
