"The Pequot was a perfect place to stay in Oak Bluffs, close to the beach and shopping, restaurants, tourist spots. Yet, it was tucked away on a quiet street full of cute gingerbread style homes. The hotel had a good size front porch to relax on and a charming lobby. The
free breakfast had a nice variety and good coffee.The facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Made you feel very welcome. The hotel was a great place to stay for a true Vineyard...

"This quaint property will be a memorable stay. Mostly for the kindness of Ellen, the property manager upon arrival. We had a lovely chat about her history with the property, she checked me in early and even went up before i did to make sure it was ready. I accidentally had her take my bag up that had my purse (license, credit card) but she allowed me to check in without it, no biggie. Wow.
The property is very cute. No frills inside, but there is 24 hour coffee and tea, a little
breakfast...

"I liked a lot the location, the cleanliness, the breakfast selection and the staff. Centrally located. Walking distance to the beach (a few steps away), main street in downtown area with shops and restaurants (a block), bus stop in Ocean Park to catch a bus to the other parts of the island or the airport. The rooms are clean and the bed was very comfortable. I felt I had an experience to stay in one of the cottages. Healthy choices for breakfast and big variety. Lisa Allen at the front desk was very helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will book it again."
