I was surprised that despite the busy road outside, it really is quiet and tranquil inside. Everything works, too - seems like an obvious point but not always the case, even in very expensive hotel. This one provides great value for money in a top neighbourhood around Berkelee music school, with its pretty brownstones, great shopping and hip restaurants. Excellent transport links too. Highly recommend the place, especially for Boston first-timers. "
