From here, it is only a couple mile drive to Beautiful Fort Walton Beach. The staff was friendly and overall clean place. The room was nice and the bed was wonderful. My only complaint is that the corners were not kept that clean in the room and there were some little bugs or insects on the dresser.

Great place for a family on a budget

We got away for the weekend with the family and decided to stay here. Check in was easy, staff was friendly at check in. The room was clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. For breakfast we had biscuits and gravy and the grandkids had waffles. Check out was quick. We would stay here again.

Pier fishing trip

A pier fishing trip at Navarre Beach Pier. Weather was great, fishing was great, and the Baymont Hotel was great. Rooms were clean, well maintained, shower had great water pressure, and the bed was super comfortable. We have stayed at 4 hotels in the area and the Baymont was by far the best yet.

We have stayed at this Baymont Mary Ester hotel many times and it is always very clean and very safe. It is family operated and most certainly a best value in the fort Walton, Destin and Navarre area. Breakfast bar is very basic but Sufficient. We hope to utilize the hotel again.

The room was nice and clean in a quiet area. The only thing I would have liked was more of a selection at breakfast. They had waffles, biscuits, sausage gravy, sausage links, bread/bagels and muffins. There was also some cereal available. It would have been nice to have hard boiled eggs/yogurt and/or even a plain gravy for the biscuits because I am on a pork free diet. But overall, I enjoyed a waffle and coffee. Not too bad.

Boosted WiFi

The stay was great, the room clean, the major hiccup was WiFi. It was throttled so doing work there was a bit tough. I figured out a way to get it done but it was a bit frustrating. The staff was amazing, the location was perfect for so many things we were doing there.

It’s okay

I spent one night here. I had read reviews and seen good ones. This is just a basic hotel, went in and smelled like smoke,the blanket on bottom of bed, the shower curtain had cigarette burns on them. This room was non smoking. This is okay for someone who doesn’t want to spend much money for vacation. But, I would not recommend it for a long stay. The pool was clean. There were places to eat and shop close to it. The washer and dryer is upstairs under the awning. We couldn’t get into the gym our card wouldn’t work. This is just a basic cheap motel.

They absolutely the best thing that I enjoyed about this property is that the staff was so welcoming and extremely nice and when I had a problem checking out they assisted me with collecting some things that I had left behind and let me pick them up the next day so that was extremely nice of them so I think they did a great job with that

The TV remote in the first room did not work correctly, and so I then was given a room upstairs that had no light over the vanity and the receptacle at the vanity did not work. This is a hotel that is priced accordingly, you get clean sheets and towels and the front staff are friendly and try to help as much as possible.

Location was a choice for me to book this place and so it worked. That said the facility is worn and old and that is the best I can say. I got what I paid for. Just an FYI the Area tax adds about $50 a night to hotel nightly fee, which isn’t this facility’s fault, but could be noted for $$ decisions.

Bed was great size, ac system was little weird wouldn’t stay on kept turning off. Breakfast was very slim at 7 am Slept decent er though the bed was on hard side, had the donor disturbed signed on the doors d housekeeping still came in my to do towels and make the bed. But it overall decent place would stay again

Not for you if you like sleeping on a nice bed.

Expensive room. Bed was awful. Hard as a rock. I wonder how a person could buy a bed that hard? I understand that the area is expensive, but the value was not good. The pool was clean. The breakfast was minimal. If they could get away with fewer items for breakfast, I bet they would try.

When I arrived at 1050 pm, there was no one there for about 10 minutes and then after knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell, a hotel staff member pulled up hurriedly and checked me in. This was not very pleasant after driving several states to this destination and having to use the restroom upon arrival. Then I was placed in a room next to another room that was occupied by people who I was suspicious of drug activity. There was a lot of noise and squabbling in the room. I quite literally felt unsafe and has to be transferred to a different room. Unlike the first staff member I encountered, the second staff member was polite and placed me in a room that I felt OK staying in for the evening. He was very helpful. Overall, this was such a poor experience that I seriously considered driving straight back home upon arriving. I will have a hard time to return to this hotel again.

It was a room to stay in

This room was booked just before we arrived at the motel online. We arrived after dark but the motel parking lot had great bright lighting. We did have a wait in the lobby a bit as the clerk was gone and ringing the bell did not raise anyone initially. We were given our room after check in and as we entered the room it appeared to have just been cleaned prior to our arrival. The floor had dampness still on the floor as if it was just mopped prior to arrival. (We checked in late in the evening. ) The room was comfortable and functional. The shower was functioning with hot water which lasted. The only issue was the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not function so steam and heat did build up quickly. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. The property does show signs of needing maintenance. The breakfast was a typical motel breakfast, with juice, make your own waffles, dry cereal and such. We had no major issues during our stay that would prevent us from returning.

We rolled in after 600 miles expecting a standard Wyndham hotel experience. This seems to be a cousin of the bates motel. Never felt so unsafe. First room had dirty sheets and the floor was wet from recent mopping, I could have lived with that, but it was still wet 30 minutes later. We switched room Kudos for the quick switch. That room was a bit cleaner, but the furniture looked like it had been salvaged from a junk yard. The lights over the front door and the bathroom were on motion sensors. I was awakened 6 times when either my wife went to the bathroom, or I rolled over in the bed triggering the overhead light. There were no peep hole covers. Worst start to a summer vacation in 30 years. I challenge Expedia and Wyndham to send someone to the hotel to stay unannounced and tell me it meets the minimum standards. Great Expedia service in facilitating the quick room switch.
