"Easy access to the beach maybe a 3 min drive.. Staff great !! If we needed anything always helpful We stayed 2 days during labor day weekend And definitely going back ..it's close to everything Harborwalk was less than 10 min drive away .!"

"Pros: Nice, clean place with easy beach access. Staff were nice. Good location. Cons: I don’t know if they have a strict adherence to the 4:00 check-in time or if housekeeping is understaffed, but we got there between 3-3:30 and couldn’t check in because room wasn’t ready. When we came back a little after 4:00 there still seemed to be some confusion as to whether or not the room was ready, thankfully, it was. Housekeeping didn’t knock on our door the next day until almost 6:00pm! I’ve never been to a hotel where they’ve came by so late. Hotel elevators and corridors were hot & stuffy. The elevators I can understand, but it seems like the only reason the corridors were that way is because the AC is turned off at night? I noticed as the day went on the corridors felt better and then the next morning they would be stuffy again. Pool is pretty small too. It was a nice place though and I would stay here again, but I do think the rating on hotels.com is too high. I would give it an 8, not a 9.2."

"This was our first stay in Luau II. This unit had a broken cabinet door and when the hot water was being used the plumbing has a squeal. It was a hotel room setup. The bed was very comfortable. The AC worked well. The view was obscured by the trees but we go to Sandestin for the beach and Luau is a quick walk across to the beach access!"

"Stayed 2 nights. Room was very nice, as expected. Clean, comfortable, no issues. Housekeeping did not visit after the first night so you'll have to ask if you want new towels. Walk to the public beach was less than 5 minutes. One restaurant (Back Porch) across the street, but it is very good. Pool area very clean, well kept, water perfect. Weight room was sufficient for 3 people simultaneously, at most. Breakfast had decent variety & coffee is out and available all day."
