"As a hostel, I would give the stay 4-5 stars but as a hotel only one. perhaps my understanding of the property was mistaken. My initial welcome was excellent and so I am sorry to have to give such a review as this. The room is absolutely spartan (but clean) but you are given bed sheets on arrival and expected to remove them on departure - a new experience for me at a hotel. The bed was not particularly comfortable, the wash basin had no plug and the shower had a leak so that only limited water...

"Very conviennent from the motorway, good parking (no height restrictions). Two bus routes available nearby to get into town within 15 - 20 mins, (2 euros per adult). Large supermarket a short walk away. Hotel is a bit tired and scuffed but ok."
