We could not have enjoyed our stay more. From the moment of check in to our check out, the staff at Thymus were incredibly helpful. They provided a list of recommended restaurants and then offered to even make the reservations. We were able to enjoy two fabulous dinners. This is a fabulous hotel in a perfect location!

Loved the experience to stay in a Cave. The room was beautiful and comfortable. We left the car in a private parking and were driven into town near to the hotel. Matera is amazing and worth visiting.

We loved our spa cave room at Thymus. It had a pool and a Turkish steam bath. The room accommodated four easily and was very clean and well appointed. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was excellent. We would stay again and highly recommend to anyone. Matera is a unique place and this is a one of a kind, top tier property.
