"The accommodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable. The only thing we were woken up early with a lot of noise of other rooms being cleaned and after being at a family wedding the night before we were hoping for a little more rest the following morning. "This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking. This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn. Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. "If you are a golfer playin Troon, there could not be a mote lovely, refined but casual and convenient property. The star is incredibly kind and thoughtful and the lovely views of the see and the course make for a calm, bucolic, experience. Food and drinks were lovely as well."
