Hi there! Thank you so much for taking the time to give us a review. We use a third party cleaning company that has been let know of these complaints to be resolved. The coffee pot and the rug will be addressed right away and we do sincerely apologize for those items not meeting yours or our standards. Our on site BBQ’s are the park style charcoal BBQs, they do work great if you would like to use them and bring charcoal. Also, it is true that we offer limited supplies in the cabins in the way of paper towels, toilet paper, coffee and filters. We leave a few rolls, and like many vacation rentals, you do have to provide above and beyond for your parties needs. In addition, each cabin is equipped with one large pan, one small pan, one large pot, one medium pot and one small. Also, we have one casserole dish and one baking sheet per cabin. There are one of each cooking utensil in the way of spaghetti spoon, slotted spoon, spatula, ladle and so on. There is also a set of silver wear, cups, plates, bowls and such for how many people each cabin is designed to hold. In your case, the cabin is set for up to 7 people if you count one person on the living room futon. So there are 8 of each item just in case. We apologize that our kitchen cookware wasn’t enough for your meals. If asked prior to staying we would have been happy to let you know what all the cabin holds. Again, we are glad that for the most part, you enjoyed your stay, even through the unpredictable weather. We hope you all will continue to book with us in the future. Thank you again.

Hi there, thank you so much for staying with us and thank you for your review. Our beds were all replaced with brand new mattresses and box springs on September 28th of this year. We made a point to get the same exact beds that are in Disney’s hotels and cruise ships because they are so highly rated. You were sleeping on a brand new, high quality bed when you came to visit. I am sorry the softness or firmness wasn’t to your liking. It is hard to pick a one size fits all mattress when everyone’s preferences are different. We do take great pride in our choice of mattresses and did a lot of research prior to choosing them. Our cabins all contain a back up heat source as well as a wall heater/ac with forced air. On top of that each cabin has an electric or fireplace option for added comfort and ambience. When you called about the television not working, we walked through a few things, including resetting the cable box. When you let me know the cable box reset but the cable wasn’t working, that’s when I referred you to the company itself. Understandably, this is an inconvenience, however, with no on-site staff, we have the cable company on call to walk guests through minor troubleshooting. It is our step two to figuring out if the cable is working, before moving to sending someone out. After you hung up on me to call them, I never heard from you again. I wasn’t informed that the problem hadn’t been resolved until reading your review. I went to the cabin and went through a check of my own, to find out that the HDMI cable needed replacement. Which is something I gladly would have come and done for you that evening, had you called back and let me know it wasn’t working. Lastly, we use a third party company that provides our cleans, and I have let them know of this complaint. In the future, if anything is ever amiss, we are happy to call them and have them remedy any problem that you may have. I do apologize for that, we have very minimal problems with their work, and they’re happy to come out and fix anything that ever may have been missed. Again, thank you for following up about your stay and I hope I helped to clear some things up. Take care.

Hi Michelle, Thank you for staying with us and thank you for the review. We pride ourselves in being dog friendly, and certain fees and rules go into allowing this to stay a possibility. Pet hair is very hard to remove completely in between guests, so we do require some assistance in helping to keep this problem to a minimum. All of our policies are clearly listed when you book and on our website, so I do apologize that you felt threatened by them. Everyone’s respect and participation allows us to continue to be one of the few places that still accommodates our furry friends. Secondly, we do regular price comparisons with all the local hotels and we make sure to stay extremely competitive and fair. In addition, we offer private cabins, with full kitchens and assigned parking. Lastly, please visit our website in the future to look at different cabins, we do offer many cabins with queen size beds and larger floor plans. Thank you so much again! Take care.

I do apologize for the pet hair that you have found. That is disappointing to us as well. In regards to the beds, we are replacing all of the mattresses and box springs, due to similar feedback. I apologize for the discomfort, we do listen to reviews and take action. In the very near future we will have brand new mattresses in all of our cabins! Lastly, all of our cabins are featured on our website. You said you looked at them on our website and thought they looked charming. The cabin you stayed in clearly shows on our site that it is an attached cabin, so we apologize for the confusion, but in no way do we try to be misleading about these rooms. We greatly apologize for the complications that you ran into during your stay. When we spoke on the phone about the freezer originally, you both let me know that even though the small door had broken, that it was usable for what you had brought. It since has been replaced. Our TV’s, cable boxes and DVD players, are all very standard systems and the issue was resolved when you were walked through changing the input on the television to switch between the two. I hope there were no other problems with it after that. I am also very saddened to hear of you sleeping on the floor, the beds have been hit or miss depending on personal preference, however, we currently are replacing all mattresses in the cabins, to try and relieve anyone of any future discomfort. In the future, please consider booking directly on our website, as third party booking sites can make providing any assistance very complicated. We do appreciate you staying with us and hope to hear from you in the future as we have worked hard to resolve these issues. Thank you for your review.
