"Great place to stay while in Brookings. Ive literally stayed in all the lodging available in Brookings in my past 9 years coming here. Wild Rivers is my favorite place to stay in Brookings. Great location and very good accommodations for the price. My only concerns this past visit which has never been in issue before was the parking. Various vehicles were taking up two spots which ultimately reduces number of parking spots available in a small area to begin with. I don't know how management can prevent this other than taking license plate while a reservation is made to be able contact room # and they can park correctly. Again, this has only occurred once before so not a major concern but an observation, nonetheless. Highly recommend the Black Trumpet Bistro for Sunday Brunch."

"The view was great. We stayed on the oceanfront side. Tricky driveway to get down there. I wouldn't suggest a large truck; the driveway has a very tight corner. We went swimming and sat in the hot tub late that night. The kind staff brought us all water when he saw us in the hot tub. The breakfast was unique. It was mostly all packaged food. Like breakfast sandwiches that you microwave. That actually worked out fine for us because we were across the road and could bring the items we wanted back to our room, warm them up there, eat breakfast, and enjoy our view. The rooms we stayed in were a little dated, so sometimes it's hard to tell whether they are really clean or just showing their age. We would stay here again."
