I always stay at this Hotel, it became my second home. The staff is amazing, very neat people, always welcoming you with a smile and always there for you if you need anything no matter time. The property is very clean, rooms are very spacious, the breakfast is simple but good. Overall I give them a 5 star

Everything is excellent, except that you have to talk to the reception when you rent tje room with jacuzzi and they will activate for only 15 minutes and then shutdown, for me there it was rated 3.5

Clean and spacious
Arame Hotel was super clean and as expected based on the reviews. We prefer smaller, more intimate hotels and location was more amongst the locals. The mall was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Hot scrambled eggs and some variation was provided for breakfast on daily basis. There was fresh fruits and smoothies as well. It would have been great if they could add sancocho soup during breakfasts! Otherwise, the rooms are super spacious, kept clean and very quiet. We would definitely stay here again if we came back!

The room service was excellent. The Ladies were always friendly and very helpful. I will consider the Arame Hotel if I return. Dislike: Unavailable long-term bookings. Always had to change rooms.

Room was very spacious and clean, modern. The thing i did not like was the breakfast. It was very bland, not many options and I found it was very tacky that in a buffet breakfast someone was serving the food.

Rooms although with simple design, they are very spacious and comfortable with all the basics things you can possibly need, such as toiletries (shampoo, hair conditioner, skin lotion and shower cap), a standard sized closet with a few hangers, security box, small fridge with drinks and munchies, Medium size TV, telephone, and blackout roll shade. Neighborhood has small stores around the hotel, such as pharmacies, beauty saloons, grocery stores, and small bakeries to eat something simple, nothing fancy.

The staff was extremely friendly and nice. I was a little sad the rooftop bar and area was closed. Maybe because of Covid. The hallways were a little noisy.. maybe chose a floor and a room that is not close to the elevator. The room was large and it had a nice city view.

3 star for a reason…
If you’re looking for a 3-star experience, this surely is it. The hotel is centrally located, the rooms were very comfortable, and the breakfast is very good. “Paisas” are known for their hospitality and kindness. The people that worked the breakfast hours were very welcoming and nice. The folks at the front desk, however, seemed robotic and bland; no smiles, not welcoming whatsoever. The hotel is very strict about the times guests are allowed to be in the room. If you plan on having guests, you need to make separate reservations for them. I stayed for 11 days and planned to have my parents stay with me for 2 of the days. The front desk folks decided to share it the moment I walked in to check-in because my friends who had picked me up from the airport wanted to see the place. They charge $90,000 COP per person, per night. So, the expectation is to make a reservation for the first nights I was going to be on my own, then a separate reservation for the nights my parents were going to be staying with me. Nowhere on the hotels.com website nor on the hotel’s website does it state anything about this policy. The actual policy was also up for debate because none of the front desk people could ever provide straight answers to anything. One person would say one thing and the next day a different person would say something totally different. It seems it was up to their discretion and not an actual rule.
