Its in a good location but the facilities were in poor condition and there were too many property rules and hidden fees for a hotel like this. The breakfast was mostly average, the hot tub was only half filled, jets didnt work well and wasn't heated. If you get a delivery or want to have someone meet you harass the delivery driver or your guest because there is a 150.000cop fee to have a guest. My room night one had water dripping from the ceiling and i had to change rooms at 5am. I was given water and peanuts as a thank you that cost $1 at the grocery store. Ive had good experience at Hampton hotels but i wouldn't come back here.

My company booked and paid through Wotif. When I arrived at night to check in, staff refused to check me in because I did not have the physical credit card (their logic, that they could not charge me?) Here is the Kicker: they then charged me for a "no show" (I did well and truly show, proved by my Uber records). Have you noticed the logical flaw? On the one hand they would not check me in because (presumably) without my physical credit card they could not charge me, but yet, they have charged me (for a no show, or whatever). I took an uber to a nearby hotel (and I recommend Hotel Park 10 at Medellin, where they do provide quality service).

No tengo palabras para decir lo FELICES que estamos de la hospitalidad, atenciones, y todo el amor que recibimos de parte de todos los del Hotel Hampton by Medellín. Don Favio en el recibimiento diario, Emily en la recepción, desde el instante que hicimos el check-in estuvo pendiente de que pasáramos unos días espectaculares en Medellín, Laura por su excelencia en la limpieza de la habitación y su amabilidad, Juan en las mañanas, tardes y noches buscando que nos sintiéramos en casa dentro del hotel; GRACIAS por esos ricos jugos!!! El chef Jackson, rico todo lo que cocina, la comida en el Hotel riquísima y las atenciones de Jackson son de calificación 100 y mis niñas Alejandra y Ángela, Dios las bendiga grandemente y se cumplan sus sueños!! Y todos los demás chicos, el chef de las tardes- noches, todos gracias por su hospitalidad. SERVICIO EXCELENTE, DESAYUNO EXCELENTE, COMIDAAASSS RICASSSS, LIMPIEZA EXCELENTE!!!! Nos vemos pronto!!!! I cannot whole-heartedly recommend this hotel. It is just okay. It is in a good location and convenient for a lot of places in the area. The room was very clean and the decor was cute. However, hotel lacks some basics like not having enough English-speaking staff and not allowing customers to charge items to their rooms. Also: Front office staff frequently are seen playing on their mobile phones. At breakfast the kitchen staff shut down lights to the buffet area while customers were still there "inside!" 😨 (Breakfast had just ended by one minute.) Elevator on a 15-story building frequently misoperates, taking you to different floors, making you wonder what else could go wrong. The door key system stopped working three times during a four-day stay, forcing me to take an unreliable elevator to get key card fixed. Housekeeping staff left a handwritten note asking for a positive review. (Not terrible but strange.) Male front desk staff member chatting on WhatsApp instead of alleviating the line at the desk. He directed me to the female bartender who seemed to be handling the restaurant all on her own. On the plus side, there is a wonderful view and you can walk just a few blocks to the wondrous SantaFe mall and to a well-stocked pharmacy around the corner. No pictures posted, enough pictures are on the web site but be warned, rooms are smaller than you might expect. 😮

hello, unfortunately elnhitel does not have security or control of the guests, they assigned us a key to a room that was already occupied which we entered and the guests did not even notice that we opened the door for them, the next day they called us to interrupt our rest asking if we had had a party inside the room because the gecinos complained but we went out at night, then they told us that at 3 in the morning but at that time we were already sleeping, They asked this on the reception phone, to which I replied that it had not been us because we came with my husband to rest, not to party. Five minutes later a lady knocked on the door to verify who was inside the room and interrupted my sleep again, to which I replied only my husband and I, really very insecure the hotel and the internal control of guests both entering the hotel and the rooms because they have to go to verify who is in the room.
