"We knew the property was remote but assumed there would be food available on site. This has not been the case since Covid. Management did not advise of this. There is a communal kitchen, which on arrival was poorly maintained to our disappointment. There was no dishwashing liquid or cleaning sponge and the blender was sitting out dirty. Management organised a scoter, but IDR (cash) is the only way to pay for groceries, petrol and most things in the area. So be cashed up and bring meal supplies....

"We loved our stay at Villa Lata Lama Joglo and highly recommend it! It really has to be seen to be appreciated, as the photos don't do it justice. The joglo has been refurbished and outfitted beautifully but is still very livable. Lots of different spaces to hang out, fantastic pool that gets plenty of sun, and very kind & helpful staff (hello to Ketut and Seger!). "We had an excellent stay at the three-bedroom villa. The house is better in reality. It is very spacious and comfortable, well furnished, and the pool area is really pleasant bordering rice fields. The property manager and staff are very helpful. The only minus is the beach, which is quite unusable due to rubbish. You can walk on the beach but you cannot really sun bath or swim. I would definitely go back. "

"Loved the spacious grounds and trees. Pool and area very nice BUT go to the pool before 8 and claim your chair umbrella otherwise U miss out until sunset! Breakfast choices all were awesome. "Overall, our favourite hotel in Bali despite the weather (unfortunately it was rainy season). The resort is amazing. The staff are very helpful. We stayed quite far from the front so the golf carts were available to help take us around. When you first walk into the room you're greeted by an amazing bathroom and coffee bar. I am just disappointed I was not able to try more of the coffee. Great coffee drinks provided at breakfast and afternoon tea. The onsite food was also good. We did not run out of things to do. The free plantation tour was nice along with our paid mountain bike tour to the waterfall. The activities program is extensive. We only stayed 2 nights this time but in the future we will try to stay for 3!"
