It’s a very nice older Hotel. The room was nicely decorated & the bed was comfortable. Nice & clean. Some staff we’re extremely helpful & friendly, some seemed a bit aloof. But we would stay there again. Great location as well.

The hotel in general needs a little updating however the rooms were clean. The hotel was priced well. We enjoyed the games room and breakfast though it was fairly basic but appreciated. Staff were very friendly and parking was included. Overall it was a good night stay for the price!

Stayed for 1 night. Older property, but kept clean. Decent bed, clean room, good shower pressure / clean tub. Is is located downtown where their can be activity at night , however I can see the owner / manager does his best to keep things secure by locking the property up after 10 pm , which I give him high marks for 10/10!

It is a unique property. Rooms have bedroom period suites instead of hotel furniture. The building is dated but clean and well kept. The breakfast is simple but adequate with waffles, toast and cold cereal.. we were pleasantly shocked for the price we paid. Super friendly helpful staff.

This location is older but well maintained and very clean. It is very basic, but for travellers who don’t care about frills, this is the place. Breakfast is very limited however. Toast, cereal, waffles, orange and apple juice as well as coffee are the only options. If you need a special diet, or more variety, bring your own food. (I brought gluten free food). Bringing fruit, yogurt, cheese etc. would be good. Breakfast area is nice as is the library area, lounge with tv and shuffle board. We stayed 2 nights and will book here again.

The room was very clean and the place was really quiet. The staff were excellent and there was even parking for my utility trailer, wasn't expecting that. The breakfast, well that's not the strong suit here. The only selections were waffles and toast. That said, downtown is less than a block away and there are some pretty nice places within easy walking distance for an outstanding breakfast. I've paid way more, had a horrible night with bad beds, loud guests and a good breakfast in the morning. I'll take this trade off.

Property was outdated but also very clean. Staff were really nice and kind. Also let us check in early for free because our room was already cleaned. The young gentleman who checked us in did a great job and was really accommodating and kind. Definitely stay there again! Close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Private gated parking also definitely a plus.

The evening staff was very kind as we were somewhat stressed due to our vehicle needing to be towed. He kindly carried our bags to our room and was compassionate about our dilemma. However the sink did not drain and there was no coffee maker or microwave. But all in all it was pleasant experience

Classic key to open the doors. Our room had a fridge. There is a community lounge where you can relax, watch TV, play games, read books, and eat. There is a community kitchen so you can heat up or cook food. There are pots and pans available so long as you clean it. Breakfast is free from 5:30am-10:30am. You can make your own waffles. They also have toast and cereal. Milk and juices are available in the fridge. Staff is very helpful. There is an elevator if needed

We really enjoyed our stay at Medicine Hat Villa. Lots of amenities (kitchen where you can cook a meal, tv room, reading/games room), the room was clean and very comfortable, but it was the staff who made the stay excellent. The young woman on the front desk when we checked in is so wonderful. All of the staff we met were very helpful and nice.

The room was clean and front desk attendant was very nice. The hotel is located in a neighbourhood surrounded by homeless people. They said that the property (parking lot) was equipped with cameras, but when i asked to see what he saw on his screen, my vehicle was not in view. We had to bring everything that was in the vehicle inside the room, which was very inconvenient.
