"Parking lot was dark, room was clean, but no phone, breakfast was terrible, make your own coffee with machine, ants and bugs crawling on countertops, bread, cereal, oatmeal, fruit cups, some juice and bagels only on one morning. Outside was not appealing either. Felt abandoned. Needs updated, but not busy at all, maybe 2-3 customers....very dilapidated."

"When we arrived at the facility we noticed trash in parking lot and near building under windows. The parking lot lights barely work and makes it hard to see late at night. We had a 2 night reservation got into our room and immediately found a red sticky stain on the comforter clear as day with the bed neatly made. There is no way their housekeeper couldn't see it, probably didn't care. We went immediately downstairs and the front desk clerk switched our room downstairs. We went in and immediately clear as day all towels were used. The bath had used soap and some hair stuck to walls, the sink had hair from someone shaving still left in sink. So my husbund went to the other room to get the clean towels from 1st room and took the dirty towels to the 2nd room. The tv didn't work. The lock on the room was broken off and missing. Missing a light bulb from one lamp in room. The breakfast was terrible. We tried the waffles and the batter must have gone sour. We had cereal instead. The second day we chose to get our breakfast from Walmart. I was completely surprised for a Super 8 to be left with such filth. We should of asked for complete refund but we didn't have another place to go with short notice. Maintenance and housekeeping need to be trained or fired. We stay with Super 8 all the time for the last 22 years when we travel because they have high standards but not in Rochester, Indiana. Avoid staying here."

"This has to be the filthiest hotel we've ever stayed at. Do they even own a vacuum? Garbage cans overflowing for 2 days at the breakfast area. Continental breakfast not being stocked as people were eating, most food containers were empty. Pool- out of order Elevator- out of order Ice machine 3rd floor- out of order Ice machine 2nd floor- out of order "

"We booked a king suite and a crib because we had our granddaughters staying with us. When I checked in I was asked to write down the names of the all the people who were staying in the room. I’ve never had to do that before and thought it was strange. We attempted to watch the tv but the remote wouldn’t work. The front desk lady came to try to fix it but was unsuccessful after multiple attempts and offered to give us a different room which we declined because all of our stuff was everywhere. I pulled down the sheets on the bed to find a multitude of hairs on the sheets and there was a yellow stain on them. At that point we requested a new room. We tried to call the front desk to make the request but the phone did not work so I went down there. She was helping another person and said she would bring us a key soon. Fortunately the new room was right next door. It was a hassle to move but it was better than sleeping on dirty sheets. She was very nice about it but it was still a chore with two young children. Make sure you don’t get room 207 if you go there. Honestly the only reason we chose this hotel is because of the price and because of the king suite. Next time we will pay a little more to get a nicer place. "

"The room wasn’t clean, graffiti on the bathroom door, couch in a room with soiled and armed for torn. Floor's had water spots as well as the couch as if the room was in the flood. Ice machine filter was so dirty as well as the ice machine itself. I didn’t feel safe to get the ice out of the ice machine.."
