"The room was clean, however the shutters were difficult to open leaving the room dark for the duration of our stay. The staff were ok we didn't really have much to do with them Breakfast was ok, however some fresh cut fruit rather than a fruit salad would have been nicer. Good selection of hot and cold foods. The air-conditioning is excellent it kept the room comfortable for our whole stay. We loved that there was an old fashioned key to open our room door. Overall it was a good stay."

"While the staff was wonderful and helpful, there were some issue with the room. The bed was very uncomfortable as the โ€œmattressโ€ was extremely thin and therefore made it uncomfortable to sleep on. Additionally, the house keeping did not restock items in the room, such as creamer, etc, which didnโ€™t allow me to enjoy the terrace with a cup of tea or coffee in the morning."

"Once you get to the property the staff were all wonderful but the communication prior to arrival was none no answers to any of my questions through Expedia. The city bus is across the street takes you into Florence for 2 euros but make sure you validate your ticket front of bus to avoid a hefty fine. I loved that we could cook breakfast before heading out and there is a grocery store onsite."
