Only downside would be maybe some of the soundproofing between rooms especially where there is an adjoining door. Whilst in bed the sound of the light switches in the neighbouring room could be heard. Saying that I’d easily stay here again."

"The staff are all very attentive and friendly. However the building is starting to show it's age (understandable in today's economic climate). And whilst we didn't mention it at the time, the mattress in our room was as lumpy as we've experienced."

"Room were very clean and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable. Nothing was too much for the staff. Everyone was so helpful and polite. Large choice at breakfast and everything was cooked to perfection. The spa facilities were a lovely bonus. We've stayed at a number of Crowne Plaza hotels but I have to say Nottingham is our favorite. The staff are a real credit to the hotel. Thank you for an enjoyable stay."
