Hotels with Views in Mersea Island

"The booking was made through Expedia with filters applied for 4 star hotels. There was a sign on the property indicating 4 star Inn. The sign was probably 20 years old or more. This is a pub with some letting rooms. Ours was in a converted outbuilding. Billed as a luxury double with garden views. The room was cramped, a double bed, 2 bedside cupboards, one bedside lamp.
