"Room was clean, tidy, functional and had sufficient features. The balcony was a great addition. The view over the town was super. It overlooks the street so accept there will be town noise on a Friday./Saturday night. Does mean it is superbly situated for city exploits.
Only negative was parking. It was a busy weekend and the assigned car-park had only once space."

"I am a regular guest of the Holiday Inn, Abbots Lane, Colchester and have always found the hotel both inviting and comfortable. The staff are excellent and always friendly and helpful. "Excellent little find. Amazing value, comfy king sized bed. Friendly staff at check in, which was quick and simple.
Generous complimentary breakfast hamper, teas and coffees. We asked for extra milk in the morning, which we was given.
Very clean room - great power shower.
