"Was a great stay "

"Parking was easy and convenient, staff was friendly and professional, hotel room was nice and clean "

"1) I reserved through Expedia and was not told of a $200 hold on my card. $200?!? That's insane. Especially when not told about it. 2) I changed my card that was to be charged. This should have been a very simple process, but instead lead to numerous desk visits and calls to my credit card issuer. Very frustrating and time consuming! 3) I arrived very late and the entrance was very dark (scary) and looked like it was closed. Even the people dropping me off did not want to leave me. I was in a room at the end of the hall that was not well lit. Again, scary. I did not feel too safe at this point. 4) Unbeknown to me, I slept on a dirty bed. I did not realize it until I woke the next morning. I reported it and no one seemed to care. They just changed the bedding. Ick! 5) There is a sign posted at the desk that the security cameras are not monitored. WHAT?!? Definitely did not feel safe. I wanted to leave but the booking I had was none refundable. I would not stay here again and if I thought it was worth pursuing I would ask for a FULL refund! "

"Breakfast was ok but could have used more variety. Sausage patties could be rotated with ham, bacon, or links. Adding fruit would be a nice touch as well. OTW, it was sufficient. "

"I checked to my room and it was in very poor shape (the couch cushions were torn and the couch itself was very heavily stained). My son was supposed to sleep on the couch and it was so bad I was ready to leave. They did put us in another room, which was better but still had some staining on the couch and just overall was tired (scratches all over the wood accents, TV sound was not working, old lighting by the beds that didn’t go on right away). I thought this was a Hyatt and was sorely disappointed by how much lower the standards were for the Hyatt Place. I do want to say that the staff was great. They listened to my situation about the first room and addressed it right away. The maintenance and cleaning crews were working away all day and were always pleasant. So if you are looking for a place to stay in the Tempe area, I think you could find a better place in the same price point. 4 out of 10 stars. "

"Old rooms mine had a tub that was a climb to get in luckily I am spry for 72. The toilet had a broken top with the wrong size replacement. The bar was in the lobby and very noisy. If you self park finding the lobby was difficult."
