"Lovely clean hotel, the reception area smelt amazing as we walked in. Noticed a very lovely bar area, umbrellas you could rent and an Uber machine. I thought these extra services were very clever to offer. The room was spacious, clean and well presented. The bathroom was also very modern and well designed. "We had a great stay at Bartley Lodge after visiting Peppa Pig world inside Paultons Park Family of four: two adults and two kids age 3 and 7 - both autistic so they are loud and a bit restless waiting, but we felt welcome and comfortable during our stay. The lady managing the dining room brought them colours and books for the table to play with as the conservatory had less WiFi signal for watching cartoons. Great breakfast options really filling and fresh including the usual familiar cereal and toast and juice The room was comfortable, with enough space for all of us. The children were provided with fold out mini-beds that were made up with bedding. They slept comfortably. Our bed was comfortable and cosy The bathroom had a bath with a shower over the top. Soap and shower gel provided with big thick towels. The only thing missing was a wash cloth but we made do We were quite warm in the night but we did not want to leave the window open while we slept incase the children tried to climb through (traditional lift-up window). The grounds were beautiful and we had short walk around in the morning to say hi to the sheep and cows roaming the fields which was a lovely touch Overall it was a lovely stay and we would come again and recommend it to friends and family wanting to stay in the area. "We were greeted by Chris when we checked in after long day exploring Cotswold. We decided to stay in and booked a reservation for dinner. We had steak and Seabass and both meals were cooked to a perfection. All the courses were delicious from starter to dessert. The bed, bedding, linens, and soaps were luxury without loosing the characters of the house..and clean. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful. Thanks Desi, Chris and everyone (sorry, I forgot the name) so welcoming and helpful to make our stay memorable. Beautiful grounds and view from our room. We’ll definitely comeback again. "
