"Amazing hotel. My room was clean and very comfortable. The location was in Adams Morgan area- great neighborhood. I’d stay at the High Road again. Definitely recommend it if you don’t mind a small room. And I’m a senior so you don’t have to be a “kid” lol to enjoy the stay."

"The Darcy is my absolute favorite hotel in DC. The staff is impeccable and their service is unmatched. They are warm, friendly, welcoming, and always go the extra mile to make your stay exceptional.
Andrew is fabulous and always has the best recommendations for food and other special things in the area. Kayla is extraordinarily helpful and was able to give me a super late checkout so I could take my work call from my room. Teo was fabulous at check-in. Frew and his team are the best doormen who greet you with a smile and friendly hello and always, always open the door for you when you enter the hotel. The housekeeping staff are incredible and take immense care in making the rooms perfectly spotless.
The rooms are well designed and incredibly comfy. Such great sleep and they’re incredibly quiet!
The restaurant and bar staff are friendly, efficient, and so lovely. The food and drinks are top notch!!!
The area is the best and within walking street of everything you need on P Street and close to all the best attractions.
I can’t wait until my next stay!"
"We stayed only one night while taking in some tours the following day. Great customer service and I had pre-checked in on my phone before arrival. We did arrive earlier than planned and had planned on having them hold our bags, but our room was ready well ahead of time, which was great. The dropping off luggage and picking up there is really no designated spot as it’s the active street you’re stopping on. My husband stayed with the car while I went to check in as reservation was under my name. Bathroom was good size, but the showers are very small. Room is on the small side, but for only 1 night it was fine. Late night it becomes very noisy for a couple of hours and then quiets down. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room either. We travel with a small collapsible ice chest so we had that with us already filled so we were fine as far as cold drinks go. There are a few food locations in walking distance. We did park at the parking garage around the corner and it was maybe a two minute walk. We had no issues parking at the Connecticut Street parking garage."
