Overall our stay was great far location, convenience, parking and walkable to shopping and restaurants. Only one complaint only one elevator was working half our stay. Had to wait a while to catch it.

The elevator waits at this hotel are excessively long. And there was a lack of ensuring I was placed in the correct room by the staff, two guests had access to my room and walked in early morning on my check out date. When I called the front desk the man stated his ends shows a completely different number. This is unacceptable and invasion of privacy. Also our room in the pictures does not look the same. The balcony is shared and split between neighbors which is not in the advertisement! I also had minor issues with the television when I first walked into my room my remote was not working also they do not allow you to connect your TV to any Wi-Fi at the hotel or your own personal hotspot. Major inconvenience!

When we arrived at the hotel, we noticed the doors were open. After a few minutes, we realized just how hot it was. We asked staff member if the A/C was working. The staff member reluctantly answered that the A/C was not working and a company had been there since the morning trying to fix it. We also discovered some upper floors were without power. They could not give a time when those issues would be fixed. It was almost 97 degrees outside and we couldn’t risk staying there in that heat. We were in town for our son in law graduation from medical school at Ross College at the University of Miami. We were forced to find accommodations elsewhere at the very last minute costing us additional money.

Nothing went right. Terrible checkin. Key wouldn't open the garage. Restaurant closed. Hot tub closed. Had to change rooms due to all night party. Couldn't get anyone to clean room. These are the highlights.

We booked a two night stay. The first night the water went out in the entire hotel. We were unable to shower or even brush our teeth the next morning before heading out to our appointments. When we returned late morning, the water was back on but the Air Conditioning was out in the whole building. As of the next morning when we checked out the A/C was still not on. We are talking Florida during extreme heat and humidity. My partner has recently had a double lung transplant which is what we were in the area for and neither of us we able to handle being in that kind of heat without A/C and ended up staying in our car with the A/C running the entire night. The staff, especially the nighttime staff, were not very friendly about keeping us informed of any progress. One young lady said to me, “ well you know we have been here all night in the heat too. Of which I reminded her that yes, but she was being paid to be there, not paying hundreds of dollars to have a this miserable experience. They eventually compensated our stay, but the whole experience was horrible.

Great location and parking garage onsite was convenient. Upon arrival we parked to go inside and check in but before making it inside the valet stopped us to ask about our parking access. How would we know that when we hadn’t even checked in yet? After a few minutes searching for email confirmation at his request we just walked away to check in. The room we had was not clean. There was hair in the corner of the bathroom floor and on our towels and sheets. There was a blood stain on the bathroom wall and the artwork in the halls were faded and wrinkled. The onsite restaurant was closed for renovations and we received no communication about that during the booking or check in process. They only had 1 of the elevators going a lot of the time making for long wait times and larger crowds. The AC went out in the middle of our first night. Staff did not offer any update, iced water, fans, or even an apology. They did comp us one night. Aside from the AC issues I still would not recommend this hotel due to the other issues I listed.

The room felt a bit like a catfish online. Not as nice in person. Noisy sports field below where kids played for hours- which is fine, but investing in soundproofing would be a sound decision. Cleanliness was good, the room itself was just much different and more dim in person. You can repaint something only so many times and keep calling it ‘new’.

No cable. Was surprised,never heard of hotel not having cable tv otherwise full kitchen that I didn’t expect, bed and pillows were exceptional. Small outer balcony. Really nice

Coconut grove was the perfect area to stay near Miami. We loved the Private Oasis at Arya for the location (great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and activities within walking distance), easy free parking, the room (comfortable, clean, nice view, balcony, nicely decorated) and the pool. A great value. We would definitely stay again.

I’m not sure what is happening at this place. It seems to be more of a condo than a hotel. The location and price are great but there is no restaurant, lounge, or pool bar. Looks like all of those things have closed permanently. The pool is very basic and there was an area blocked off with caution tape with some heavy equipment. Strange that Expedia reviews are good but if you look on other websites only 2 stars and lots of bad reviews. Free parking in this area is nice and the area has lots of good shopping, eating and bar hopping-very casual compared to other areas of Miami.

This hotel is located in the Coconut Grove area which is so beautiful. The area around the hotel is gorgeous beautiful homes, you have the Trolley system close by, the Metro system a 20 minute walk away, and other Omni system a 5 minute walk. Plus, great shops and food are within walking distance. If you don’t have a car the beach is a bit of a hike on public transportation, but doable. The property itself is very well maintained and the pool was a a great treat in the evening since it is heated. I enjoyed the convenience of having a kitchen and a washer and dryer in the room I stayed in. The the kitchen sink and refrigerator needs some repairs, but I’m sure their maintenance staff will be on it once the room is unoccupied. My only complaint is the slow elevators, but my stay, the staff and the area was great. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Arya, is a very nice choice for a hotel for those who are looking for something a little more low-key luxe. The hotel is in a very nice area, and it’s a 20 minute drive to South Beach is that’s your thing. What’s really nice, that some people won’t get is that there’s a very nice way that the staff are invisible yet still very much available when you need them… so you get a very personal ‘non-hotelish’ vibe. It’s very much like the name of the place states: Private Oasis by Arya. The hotel’s ambiance is very nice and I need the recipe for the natural air freshener they use… they could teach West Elm some things. The one thing I wished they would consider is perhaps installing an electric car charger… but then, there’s a ChargePoint station around the corner and it’s an easy walk since this part of Coconut Grove is so nice and walkable and the people are super chill.
