"Great area and price, nice staff and recommendations. Had a bad roof leak into my bathroom during a storm though and still wanted to charge me for a late checkout, but they relented after I made my case. I think staff just needed permission from off-site manager. Would highly recommend. "

"Well-located with lots of Old World charm such as the wood-paneled bar area off the lobby, the Claridge could nonetheless use some attention to detail and a cosmetic touch-up. The service in the bar was chaotic and slow despite a lack of customers, and the room had no clothes hangars in the closet. The bathroom was clean and serviceable but very small. "The location is superb. Never felt unsafe in this area, nor anywhere in Buenes Aires, actually. The rooms are fine; however, the rooms on the 9th floor near the service elevator and the AC blowers are LOUD! After three nights they gave me another room. So, if they give you a 9th floor room, kindly ask for a different room. The staff was fantastic. And as far as breakfast, I thought it was fine. I was a first-timer to Buenes Aires. I would stay here again, just not on the 9th floor!"
