"Wow, this was so quiet, it was amazing. Literally silence. It was a really great to just stop. There was no TV, no radio, nothing. Literally forced to unwind. It is really well placed for Harlech and even down to Barmouth. But sitting outside in the morning having breakfast was just spectacular. "Check in straightforward and quick. The room and bathroom were clean. There was a hair grip left in the bedside cabinet. Only two shower gels for a two day stay for two people. No shampoo. Unfortunately our room was located above the picnic tables for smokers so we couldn't open the window in the evenings. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and so was the evening meal. Parking on site. There is a village shop and post office. Conveniently located for Powis Castle and Welshpool."

"Toilet bowl had small bits of excrement on it and the condition of the PROM room in my opinion was very tired in need of painting and the carpet replaced. When I phoned the owner he couldn’t come to see as he wasn’t available and completely refused to offer any refund or support . He wasn’t very professional when he swore at me and just hung up so we decided to leave and travel home so I can’t comment on the restaurant or anything else"

"Great location in Barmouth and useful to have a free car park within easy walking distance. Our room appeared to be recently decorated to a high standard with some nice touches like good quality coffee and water supplied. Just to beware that our room was on the top floor and required us to walk up a few flights of stairs although we were offered help with luggage. The main negative for us was the breakfast. Although beautifully served, the quality of some of the items let the main breakfast down. Overall was an enjoyable stay."
