"This is a lovely apartment, beautifully furnished and appointed. It has a stunning view, telephone wires apart. It was absolutely spotless when we arrived. We had a couple of niggles but they were addressed satisfactorily by the owners. Take their words about the hill to the apartment very seriously. You need to be fit and able to deal with it."

"The room (shepherds hut) was great just the right size for two of us and the hot tub was huge. We didnโt need to ask for anything but saw the staff at the other huts and lodges cleaning etc, always very chatty when we saw them. Location was a little bit difficult to find but once there we were fine. Very close to Elan Valley and we had a view of one of the dams from out hut which was beautiful. All in all we had a great stay."

"The whole stay was beautiful! It was clean, spacious and the host even left Welsh cakes, eggs and milk in the fridge for me. Itโs the first time Iโve solo travelled and this place was perfect for me, but I can also see it being perfect for a couple too! The host also left a โguideโ on the table, with key information and recommendations for local places to eat and things to do, as well as cab companies which was really useful! I will absolutely be staying again! I had the best time and couldnโt...

Powis Castle, owned by the National Trust, is located near Welshpool in the heart of the Welsh countryside. It was originally built as a medieval fortress around 1200, but the building as it stands today is a testament to the way in which it has been altered and remodelled from 1600 onwards. The interior is home to thousands of works of art, furnishings and ornaments collected over the course of 400 years.

Penhelig Arms
8/10 Good
"We had a lovely stay at The Penhelig Arms in a beautiful location. The food was good, even for gluten free. Excellent options all round. We couldn't fault the staff even if there weren't many on shift. However, the showers could have been better as water leaked out the door, (some re-sealant would have helped) and two of the window handles were either broken or we couldn't open the window. The fridge also wasn't cleaned. It did not look clean at all. One of the slabs was loose near the room and just need cementing down. The railway station was literally a 1 minute walk away. A beautiful line to travel on. Would I stay there again? Yes."
The lion hotel
8/10 Good
"Quirky interior in a lovely old pub. It was curry night whilst we were there and we experienced a lovely three course meal for ยฃ20- unusual, very tasty and excellent value- would definitely recommend."
The Hafod Hotel

"Great hotel, we'll worth a visit"
Aberystwyth Park Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Only comment I would make and itโs only my thoughts, I found the restaurant and bar area a little bland I felt that it couldโve been a little cosier. As I say just my thoughts perhaps divide bar and general eating area."
The Cardigan Bay Guest House
8/10 Good
"Quirky property, a bit tired and dated but the seaview from our Triple room more than made up for that."
The Mount Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Good value for the price."

"ROOM WAS NICE AND CLEAN. BUT BED MATRESS WAS UNCONFORTABLE. SHOWER WAS ALSO SLOW WITH NO PRESSURE. OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS OK TO STAY FOR THE NIGHT"
Tyr Graig Castle

"What an excellent stay. It was close to the beach, the staff were lovely, food excellent and a very quiet location to stay in."
Gwesty'r Marine Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely sea front hotel in good location. Room was comfortable, nice restaurants in walking distance and lovely spa, just a shame we didnโt get to try any treatments (no information provided) or the steam room (they took too long to switch it onโฆ)."
