Search Bed and Breakfast in Middelkerke

"Overall okay for one night as it was easy too reach from the motorway, close proximity to a lovely beach, nice bakery round the corner and we were big fans of the blackout blinds. However, we didn’t have duvets when we arrived so had to call someone from Holiday Suites as there is no reception staff at this hotel. The problem was quickly solved but what was even more annoying was the fact that we had to make our own beds. When we asked the lady who provided us with the duvets in the end if this was normal, she confirmed it was, unless we had booked it as an additional service. Not sure I would have been happy to pay more for a service that seems standard absolutely everywhere we have stayed in the passed. The pillow covers where also too small for the pillows which made them extremely uncomfortable to sleep on and in addition the security rail on the bunk bed was broken with nails sticking out. We were told someone would come to fix it but that wasn’t the case. Guests should also be made aware that there is no shower gel and not even any hand soap in the bathroom. "

"Nice rooms, if you get a suite. I was there in January and it was neither open nor closed. No room service and breakfast is apparantly available but I was charged for it and it was left outside my room for hours so it was cold and unsanitary. If a hotel charges you for breakfast, the least they should do is inform you it is sitting on a tray in the hallway. Out of the 43 hotels I have stayednin last year the staff knock on your door to tell you it is there so I waited another hour and called reception with no response. I waited another half hour and then decided to go and ask and when I opened the door, there is was, cold. I asked why they charged me for it and said that I was not happy about it and they basically told me to f... myself and they charged my card without my permission. Apart from this, if you are looking for some aline time with a reasonable suite, its fine."

"Parking was secure,clean room if a little small. No kettle and tea making facilities In room . Bed clean and comfortable. "

"A mixed experience. Our room was flooded and we had to stay the night in a room with a drip because we couldn’t get through on the publicly available number as it was late at night. Yes, we received a free breakfast and were told we would receive a reimbursement for the nights stay but this never came through and when I contacted the hotel, a Manager named Benny said a reimbursement would not be happening as we had received a free breakfast to compensate. It’s a shame because the staff there were lovely and apologetic but was disappointed they didn’t keep their word about the reimbursement of my night’s stay. "

"Although it be a mixed, B&B. I stood around at the bar/reception for what seemed a lifetime. I couldn’t catch anyone attention to at least say I was a guest. It took me almost 30 minutes to check in. Although very warm atmosphere, the room are worn and old with cheap decor. At £108 I won’t be stopping there again."
