"BEST SPA STAY I HAVE STAYED AT! I have worked all round the country and this has been by far the best hotel/ spa i have stayed, beautiful grounds, lovely spa facilities, polite smiley welcoming staff! Room cleaned everyday. Didnt eat thier so carnt comment on food but so many takeaways to order from."

"When I arrived instead of the Deluxe room I was offered a family room which was in a basement with high brick walls out side a very dark room. They did change the room back to a Deluxe room on the second floor which was perfect. But when I booked I was under the assumption that I was booking Bed and Breakfast at £125.16 per night.....apparently not so. That was an extra payment . I had booked two nights parking at £6 per night on check out they wanted to chare me £8 per night. Although they did then only charge me £12. I would stay there again but I would double check Expedia booking process to ensure I was getting what I thought!!!"

"Booked this for myself & staff as we were working nearby. This was a great place to stay, great pub with beautiful surrounding areas & nicely set on the river. The manager Stan was absolute class & we will definitely stay here again if working or even visiting the area."

"Large bedroom clean comfortable, Bathroom clean shower abit dated but worked fine.. The price was great and we will go again …. Food good not a vast amount on the menu,but pizza available instead if wanted about 5 starters 5 puddings… Staff very helpful The corridors were bright and turn on as you went down them..wall looked freshly painted and not tired and dated… Set in lovely well managed grounds ,no litter about and very quiet to sit in gardens Very good and drink wine"
