"The host is a lovely lady. This is essentially an "economical" rooming/boarding house, not an inn."

"It is sn old property in dire need of some fresh decorating. Especially the stair carpet which looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in months. It also smells in the narrow passageways. The toilets and showers needed cleaning. Staff were nice, polite and helpful."
